Gold Coast priority Pick

It seems Likely that the suns will receive a priority pick and it may even be pick 2 which would be unfair but if the afl says they have to trade it it seems unlikely that any player worth a pick 2 in a trade would want to go there

With the suns needing senior bodies could we put together a deal with say 3 or 4 players that could persuade them to send us pick 2

For example maybe Carlisle Webster Ross or dunstan

Although better them getting Anderson than Melbourne.
At least we have a chance of getting him back

Unless we offer Max King, I don't think we have the cattle to pries pick 2 from the Suns.
I guess you could offer Gresham or Clark (that category of young player) plus Carlisle which they may consider.
For pick 2 they will want a star player as a starting point and there will be clubs willing to trade as the top two look outstanding prospects.
To get it our best bet would be Carlisle plus our first pick (but then we can't get Hill).

Senior bodies made all the difference to Brisbane, as it will the Suns...but sadly we don't have a Lyon, Cameron or Neale to offer them. As for The Suns, they need to grow a pair and do some deals to get established stars onboard.

Select Rowell & Anderson with picks 1 and 2
In 2 years time, we trade our first pick & future first pick for the King twins
Add other draft picks & free agents ... away we go !
