For me it's Hinkley after Port sack him (best available).

Remember he was neck and neck with Watters for this role in 2011, with Richo a distant third in that race.

At least we would play entertaining footy under Hinkley and take the game on.

It looks like the club will make the cautious call and appoint Ratten, rather than risk alienating members with Scott.

It's a big ho hum from me, with more of the same shoddy execution and excuse making, albeit with a more passionate voice.

I honestly have no idea what Ratten is likely to do differently, how likely those intentions will actually translate into outcomes, and how relevant such outcomes will be to the conditions in 2020. I suppose none of us do but I hope that some of the people on the team appointing him do do. (Grammar?)

I'm beginning to lean toward Robert Harvey.

We don't know who the next messiah might be, the next Barassi, Sheedy, Jeans or Clarkson. But I doubt it will be Ratten, he's a safe bet, but not likely our saviour.

Robert Harvey may have the ability to take the club back to it's roots, St Kilda for St Kilda people, run by St Kilda people with passion for the club.

Ideally he would get strong support from Nick Riewoldt, Shane Warne, Brendan Goddard, Luke Ball etc .... get St Kilda people back to run the club.
