How this guy ever got a 2 year extension, I will never know. It just tells us where the Club is at - going nowhere !

Re: Dear Jack Newnes
Why stop at Newnes?
The only players I would view as required are Coffield, Carlisle, Steven, Gresham, Ross, Dunstan, Acres, Steele, Hannebery, Clark, King, Billings, Roberton, Marshall, Bytel, Austin, Battle, Bruce, Membrey, McCartin, Clavarion and Wilkie.
There are doubts over Steven, Roberton and McCartin
We need to get full pre-seasons into some others
We have a First Round Draft Pick with currency.
And the rest can aspire to playing in State Leagues or suburban competitions.

Re: Dear Jack Newnes
I really struggle to see what others do in Acres.
Yes, might’ve been mismanaged A LOT - but in the cases where he does get given the opportunity, all I’ve ever felt is let down and/or underwhelmed.
As for everyone else - I would say not a single player on our list apart from Hunter Clark and Rowan Marshall are untouchable.
For the RIGHT value, I would consider everyone tradeable.

I hope the contract was a real low ball (hint, hint f**k off Jack) that any team could match. The guy’s a hack and doesn’t give a shiteee

Re: Dear Jack Newnes
Agree with you on Acres, a WA boy and we should be looking to package him up in the Hill deal. Been at the club for a few years and just doesn't seem to be able to take the next step.....move him on for the right price.ss1986 wrote: ↑Sat 24 Aug 2019 7:12pm I really struggle to see what others do in Acres.

Careful. Some posters on here will have a hissy-fit, report the post and the proloteriate will ban you for saying nasty things (albiet true) about Saints players. Das ist Verboten!prwilkinson wrote: ↑Sat 24 Aug 2019 9:19pm I hope the contract was a real low ball (hint, hint f**k off Jack) that any team could match. The guy’s a hack and doesn’t give a shiteee

Re: Dear Jack Newnes
Because we massively overrate players that aren’t much good for us but are somehow worth a second round pick elsewhere.
Please someone remind me what we got for Mav, H Goddard & Minchington?
How did those trio go at their clubs??
Were they worth more than delisted FA’s that they were?
