f****** Billings! Jesus
This is a team game and there is no room for individuals who think they are above walking through the fire.

My gut feeling is that Ratten had to win one or both of the last two games to be a certainty for the job. The team selection was very conservative nearly a sign of resignation by the selection committee.saintbob wrote: ↑Sat 24 Aug 2019 4:44pmSpot on, selection integrity was a real concern with Richardson and hasn’t improved with Rattensamuraisaint wrote: ↑Sat 24 Aug 2019 4:36pmSame old story - I already posted at half time that our third quarters have been abysmal all season - players should have been put on notice, but were they? Oh, no.
Instead allowing Sydney who have struggled to score all year to kick 3 goals in 3 minutes and then a fourth in a row some time later.
Not good enough - and it all starts at selection. Same players doing it all year, same players selected every week. It's a cancer.

Re: Match Thread Saints v Swans Round 23 2019
This group of players need to be reprogrammed from "strong at the contest" to "efficient by foot". Our effort is there but our skills are amateur hour. We need a kicking and ball transition specialist in the off season. It doesnt matter who our coach is, as the skill level of this group is going to destroy any gameplan that any coach will try to implement. We have too many athletes on our team and not enough footballers. Time to sweep a broom through the list.

Steele hacks a kick from the pack and gets a GOAL
The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

+1 it hurts me in my chest sometimes the way this team butchers the footy. A team full of masochists.stkfc1 wrote: ↑Sat 24 Aug 2019 4:50pm This group of players need to be reprogrammed from "strong at the contest" to "efficient by foot". Can't see how we can keep playing Billings and Sinclair in the same team. Hopefully we can get Hill in to replace one of them
Some time soon.

Before Buddy free, Blakey just ran right through the mark in front of Wilkie. No 50.

Disaster! Scott would mean the death of our club. Lyon, only slightly better.saintbob wrote: ↑Sat 24 Aug 2019 4:53pmYeah, I don’t think he is getting the jobscallopsroe wrote: ↑Sat 24 Aug 2019 4:48pmMy gut feeling is that Ratten had to win one or both of the last two games to be a certainty for the job. Re: Match Thread Saints v Swans Round 23 2019
Jeez if you’d instructed the players to throw the game it’d look exactly like this. Billings stops a certainty, savage waits around for the obvious tackle from behind. Seb then gives them another gift. Shocking errors.

You only get a 50 if someone runs beside you about 10 metres away.

8.13, once again we are allergic to scoring.

At least our next coach (no one currently involved at the moment please) will have a bottom six fixture to ease himself into it with a Bang(er)!

Forwards coaches and goalkicking coaches must go - no ifs or buts. The club won't be able to survive another season like this.
Our reserves coach has to go too. We are getting schooled by a bunch of guys from the NEAFL.

I guess they are organising the sheep and goats for Monday - to see if anyone knows the difference ...

Really great, just walk off the ground now because you're clearly not interested in making an effort and are just embarrassing yourselves.

Seriously Lonie has to be dropped back to the under 10's. He should not be given another game.
And Ben Dixon can move on also, if he hasn't already.
