Re: Farewell Armo!
Thanks Dave for your time at the Saints - if you think it was a pleasure meeting the fans - I for one can tell you that it was immensely more of a pleasure for us to meet (and support) you!
I have always found you to be approachable and ready to spend a few minutes with the fans
Thanks again!
Although it is your right - please don't play for another club - I could not bear to see you in anything but the RW&B

Congratulations on a great career

Good luck for the future Armo. You have been my favorite player in years gone by, Very much underrated by the football media imho.

Re: Farewell Armo!
Really good career. Shame his body let him down. Always loved that he tried to get forward and kick a goal too - something none of our mids other than Jack S do naturally.
Seriously sliding doors stuff though - if he’d have been drafted to St K any time other than he was - he would’ve been our best starting inside mid. Tough gig when you’re last in line behind the 2005 - 2014 midfield crew. It took for Lenny to retire for Armo to have his best season straight thereafter.

Re: Farewell Armo!
Many have debated over time the greatest individual performance by a StKilda player.
I contemporary times, Armo's 47 possession effort in dragging the Saints back from a 55 point, 3rd quarter deficit to defeat the Bulldogs at Etihad is the greatest in my memory. It perfectly demonstrated his courage and willingness to put his all on the line for our team.
Well doe David, and gratitude from all Saints supporters.

Armo was always a warrior whenever he pulled on the saints jumper. The very best for the future.

Re: Farewell Armo!
Pleased that for a couple of years, he was our #1 midfielder.
The penny dropped, he worked his butt off, and became a fantastic contributor. We only saw that for 2-3 years, but overall he gave a tremendous amount to the club.
Well done.
PS: Should we have traded him to Richmond in 2014 and taken Jake Lever or Lachie Weller, who were right in our cross-hairs for those picks? Probably, but his 2015-16 years were his best two at the club, and probably bailed us out when we needed midfielders desperately.

Re: Farewell Armo!
Onya Armo and your aunt Lizzie.
Let’s hope he gets a game for GC - they need him!
Great news that Hanners will play 3 games in a row. 5 games for the season is bad but not as horrible as it could’ve been

Re: Farewell Armo!
A credit to the crest and the guernsey who gave his all, on and off the field, and was let down by his own body.
I wish him every success in his quest to get another gig, but he'll always be a Saint.
Thanks Armo.

Would have been great to have given him a farewell game.

Great guy - and would be very candid about team performances too. I met him at an Auskick clinic years ago, and was impressed by just how forthright he was. Good luck for the future Armo!
