He also walked out on his manager who was dealing with the saints
he went behind peoples backs and did the deal for more money as he was in a bit of financial strife at the time
Now I dont blame him for being a mercenary - he had credential and he needed to set himself up with regards to his family and best interests

But dont ever paint him as anything other than a coaching journeyman who is in it for the money - especially now he is a SACKED coach with a pretty average win/loss percentage

Can't recall saying that. In fact, I didn't.

Suggested Long was tradeable to the Injectors as they'd previously expressed an interest in him.

As such we'd probably get overs for him which we could then use to secure Ben King or Brad Hill.
