Getting killed in the air.

Hurts to see those hacks like Simpson and Thomas killing us.

Umpires took the momentum out of our game. Lonie is obviously hated can’t buy a free. When you concede a free pick the ball up have the umpire blow the whistle twice and you still kick it without giving a 50 you know it’s a joke.

More of an issue than the chase... he was never going to catch him.

Was Lonies positioning at stoppage, he was 3 metres behind Simpson and a quick kick out of stoppage you should always be in front.

Too used to getting a cheapie over the top I think... Should never have been that far behind his man unless it was a sure thing

Carlisle and Brown are not the future!! Like Brereton says “Bruce thinks in slow motion” Steven and Lonnie looked like they were running in quicksand The Blues deserved the win. They took the game on and played with risk-taking flair. Too many passengers in the Saints. The season means nothing if Ratten continues with the same line-up next week. He needs to cast the dice in favour of youth, passion and pace for the last game to draw any conclusions on keepers and cast-offs for next year.

Piss poor effort. Carlton wanted it more. Why was Daisy allowed to be by himself so much? He killed us day. No forward pressure at all. Deserved to loose.

Poorly coached today.

The continual direction of the footy to Bruce v Casboult was ridiculous

Imo Casboult was BOG

He identified it eventually and shifted Carlisle (as useless a a dick in a gumboot!) but a really pathetic performance.

Could have won but Lethers instructed Ratts to put the cue in the rack in the last.

We tanked.

Imagine whinging about the umps when we miss easy goals directly in front and it goes up the other end for a goal... we lost the game off our own boot.

Can’t ignore the rubbish. Lonie driven into the ground Newman was actually on top of him, the non fifty the chase down on half time. All just blatant frees to us ignored in our forward 50 while we were up.

Maybe Ratten is not very good as Carlton are pretty crap and we still lost to them

Agree totally. We focus on him weekly. He and Sinclair are the masters of bruise free footy in the side, except that Billings is on huge $$ and should be winning his own ball and doing the inspirational, team lifting play out there by now. He regularly goes missing when it matters, waits for the ball to come to him and avoids winning his own ball. Struggles to kick standard goals from 35 metres and sprayed another today when he was on his own, without any pressure (at a time when it was badly needed). Is over-rated and we stand by that. Hunter Clark is already a better player, with more upside.

We did we were s*** in the last should have been 5 up at quarter time though if not for some generous non calls that favoured Carlton.

It’s a workmanlike midfield, has been for several seasons now.

Ross is a good player, but should be your third or fourth best mid, not your first!
