I think the supporters will burn down RSEA Park if Ratts doesn't get it

Re: Ratts to get an interview ...
Today - and all the other's he has coached us - will make it hard for him to say something in the theory test to top the practical exam. Knocking off Rossy in the last minute was a particularly nice touch the panel will note. I guess a humble good morning gentlemen will pretty much seal the deal and then the messy money negotiations follow, in which we will agree to terms tuit suite.

Re: Ratts to get an interview ...
what could possibly be the case for anyone else over Ratts for the top job?
I'm wondering if Lethlean is, in his mind, still seeing Scott as the better option and what angle he would employ to push his mate's case
I can tell you one thing that would have members burn down RSEA and leave in droves
the club couldnt be that dumb, could they?

Shades of 2002 at Sydney when Eade got the flick and Roos took over as interim coach. Despite the club wanting to appoint Wallace, the players and fans exerted enough pressure on the club to get Roos appointed.

No decision should be made until we see how we go in the last 2 games.
Posters that have admitted they were wrong about Hanna's gastro and the club didn't create a cover story.

Remember last time Ratts was a caretaker coach it was for Carlton and he lost 6 in a row

Ratts should be appointed - TODAY!
This is a team game and there is no room for individuals who think they are above walking through the fire.

Tell the cardigan wearing pencil-pushing HR wankers to stick their box ticking due process precedures driven behavioural testing and just give Ratts the job!

Re: Ratts to get an interview ...
I thought it was pretty significant they gave him the mike at the end of the game and asked him why we should stick with the Saints.
There was universal approval for Ratts from everyone around me today that he should be immediately appointed, right there and then (well, perhaps after the song, but you get the picture).
They’ll have a PR nightmare on their hands amongst most members if they don’t appoint him now.
Always loyal

Re: Ratts to get an interview ...
I'd rather Ratts than Scott (or Richo). But I don't understand why we should be overwhelmed by what we've seen since he took over. Pretty much exactly the same results as I'd have expected if Richo had stayed. Is winning by 3 points at home a demonstration of brilliance versus losing by 5 points on the road a demonstration of incompetence?

Re: Ratts to get an interview ...
Looks great in the role already. I wonder what his list plan and playing style will be for this team when he’s interviewed for the job this week. Would love to be a fly on the wall. Go Saints!

Are the results of late, or for the whole of the year that unexpected?
We should beat Freo in Melbourne.

Would be happy to see him get the gig.
A thousand times better than Scott.
But let's not get carried away.

Re: Ratts to get an interview ...
I'm not displeased with Ratten, given there appears to be some actual coaching during the game nowdays, but I'm pretty sure we would have knocked off both had the dearly departed 'cho still been at the helm. I sense some panic in the forum ranks, and with Brad Scott looming, I'm not surprised!

He has already made us a better team to watch. I couldn’t stand watching us for most of the past 18 months under Richo.
The players looks happier. He appears to be a positive influence.
I’m not sure what else any other candidate could bring that trumps what Ratten has already shown.

Impressive post game I like how he describes the effort and the areas we need to be better
I got more in 5 minutes if his presser than in 3 hours of listening to Allan

I say give him 2 years at minimum wage to impress .
