Jones. Both of them?

Post: # 1815083Post diddley »

No rumour, just a fleeting thought for a minute.
Apparently we are having a go at getting Zak Jones from Sydney. Uncontracted, but will need to fork over something via a trade.
His brother, Nathan Jones is a Free Agent this year. As far as I am aware, not signed yet.
Should we make a play for both?
Zak for the speedy winger we crave, and Nathan as the Hodge/Mitchell style experience/coaching role.

Discuss.

Apparently we’re into everyone and won't be long before we’re known as the town bicycle.

Yes, everybody is coming to St.Kilda.
So if somebody does come to St.Kilda, I told you so.

We've been mentioned previously regarding Zac Jones. Hard working onballer who has poor foot skills. For the right price, though........

No thanks. A poor copy of his brother.

Would much prefer the Hill brothers but Zak would be a good get IMO as long as he doesn't cost too much.

Posters that have admitted they were wrong about Hanna's gastro and the club didn't create a cover story.

f*** no. We are developing the young players who we have stockpiled.

If we bring in a heap off these has beens and never was's from other clubs , our young guys wil start walking out the doors.

The younger Hill will do fine though.

Agree. We’ve got more than enough inside midfielders. It’s hard enough to fit them all in as it is

Neither Jones are what the Saints need at this stage. Look elsewhere.

Definitely NO both butcher the ball badly which is not what we need.
Lets work on the young blokes we have on our list and maybe target good ball users.

Fair comment. I fully agree with you. Say no to the Jones boys, they are not needed.

Nathan has been a fantastic inside mid. I've always admired his attitude.
He's just about out of gas though. Nothing left there for us to invest in.
He was a saints fan I believe.

That's sad to know.

Imagine playing your guts out your whole career for Melbourne.
Pity for him, and us, it wasn't the team he loved.
