Re: McKenzie ???
He makes too many mistakes. Every match he makes at least one mistake that leads to a goal often more
the good stuff he does doesn't make up for it.

He’s just lost all confidence
Looks like he doesn’t want the footy, like Nathan Brown

Dud of the highest order. More list management failure.Saintly66 wrote: ↑Sat 03 Aug 2019 10:38pmLol yeah I’m not a fan of him, people think we just give him s*** because we’ve got nothing better to do. Seriously his decision making is a joke, does a couple of ok things and we’re all supposed to gobble it up and forget the other garbage he dishes up.Annoyedsaint wrote: ↑Sat 03 Aug 2019 10:32pm We’d be in front if it wasn’t for him.

Re: McKenzie ???
There was a reason White was named in the best for Sandy last week and McKenzie & Battle weren't. Now what was it?
His mum likes to see his name there. Apparently close, but that's not it.
He liked his mum's facebook page. No, but understandable.
Sandy like him because he doesn't like St Kilda. No, but understandable.
I've got it! Because he played better than either of them!
It's not f#cking rocket surgery.

Give the kid a break.
Posters that have admitted they were wrong about Hanna's gastro and the club didn't create a cover story.

Break his contract and delist.
That’s the only thing I’d break.

Re: McKenzie ???
Mini was an ok player who played a role, Eddy not so good.
McKenzie has had some good games, was good last year, I believe finished top ten in the b&f, albeit in a poor team. He has been really poor this season.

Re: McKenzie ???
Get him out of defence
Play him on the wing or half forward but pushing back as an extra and to run/carry the ball forward
His only asset is pace
And during the preseason give him 12 footballs and a one metre hole in a wall 30 metres away
Once he drills 9 out of 12 through that hole, he gets to play another AFL game

Re: McKenzie ???
Dmac has plenty of strengths but a couple of deficiencies that need to be ironed out. The coaches obviously believe they can make it work with him hence the contract. Good on them for persisting with him and to try develop him into a good and consistent AFL footballer. He also provides list depth which is mega important as the team gets better. He is only 23.
I personally think he would a very good tagger or quite a decent wingman where he played junior footy. It's why he got selected in the top 25 of the draft.

Re: McKenzie ???
Why?
Dmac has consistently shown in defence that he does not have the ability to mind players and so I struggle to see why he would suddenly be able to do it further up the ground, especially as he would also most likely be on a better quality player.
The one thing he has done ok is to be third man up at marking contests to mark or spoil. Wilkie is a massive upgrade.

No, we can't afford 12 balls. Make him retrieve it each time.Saint 58 wrote: ↑Sun 04 Aug 2019 10:36am Get him out of defence

Re: McKenzie ???
Well DMac was a gastro sub; and also, try running at full pace with a herd behind you and a bobbling elliptical leather ball at your feet, bend from the waist and field it cleanly. To be balanced (no pun) he did a couple of very good things and Eddy - who is a class act - never looked like getting a bag.
