McKenzie ???
Were none of the selection committee watching when Charlie Cameron made McKenzie look like a player fresh out of kindergarten.
They now bring McKenzie into the side to play on Eddie Betts.
We must be tanking.

Re: McKenzie ???
McKenzie has done extremely well against a lot of other small forwards.
1 bad game against a team / player red hot shouldn't be a showstopper.

Re: McKenzie ???
Sorry Spinner I don't agree with you. I think he has been beaten in most of his games. I was very surprised he was offered a 3 year extension when only 1 would have been sufficient. No other team would be chasing him.
He is another guy who has taken a long time to get going. Let's hope he has a good game

3 years for a fringe player. If Webster was fit, DMack would be at Sandy.

Re: McKenzie ???
It didn't matter who we played against Cameron they would have had their pants pulled down.
Their midfield ran riot and gave their forwards an armchair ride.
McKenzie is a backup player he will not be on a large salary and is behind both Geary and Webster.

The guy may not be an elite player but he gives his 100% when he plays.Yes he is playing on Eddie tonight and may surprise a lot of those with negative comnents.

Re: McKenzie ???
That wasn't one of Richo's best coaching performances- poor midfield and backline setup, which many times left Dmac stranded or wrong-footed on a pretty good player. Fagan pantsed Richo.SinCitySainter wrote: ↑Sat 03 Aug 2019 9:03am It didn't matter who we played against Cameron they would have had their pants pulled down.

Good luck tonight Dmac. Have a good game mate.

Re: McKenzie ???
Never mind the fact that DMac was off the ground for two of Cameron’s goals.
Twice he beat DMac in a one on one
DMac isn’t the first and won’t be the last player Cameron beats in a one on one. Right now I have Cameron in the best 3 small fwds (if not the best?) in the AFL. He’s a gun!
DMac is a Geary types defender. Good athlete, hard as a cats head and gives 100%. His weakness is his kicking.

Re: McKenzie ???
i hope he isn't on Betts. My guess will be Coffield.
McKenzie foot disposal kills him, good overhead, quick but can only see him as a depth player unless he can become a midfield negator.
Richo loved him hence why i think he has got the extension. Contract doesn't mean he cant be traded though.

Re: McKenzie ???
Watched Coffield up close last week. My impression is that he is still coming to grips with the extra upper body muscle mass and his balance is off when trying to change direction when covering smaller more maneuverable forwards. Slipped a couple of times as a result because he isn't driving down hard enough with his legs - didn't need to when his centre of gravity was lower. DMac a better option for Betts at this stage.

Re: McKenzie ???
One brain fade but a couple of great attacks on the ball in the forward half. At least one led to a goal.

Re: McKenzie ???
Lol yeah I’m not a fan of him, people think we just give him s*** because we’ve got nothing better to do. Seriously his decision making is a joke, does a couple of ok things and we’re all supposed to gobble it up and forget the other garbage he dishes up.Annoyedsaint wrote: ↑Sat 03 Aug 2019 10:32pm We’d be in front if it wasn’t for him.
