David Armitage
Listed on today's injury list as indefinite due to personal reasons. Hopefully not another mental health issue. Has been a wonderful clubman and very well liked across the AFL.

Re: David Armitage
Would love to see him get a farewell game against the Dockers in our last home game. Stick him in the middle for 60% of the game and tell him to batter the opposition.

Re: David Armitage
That doesnt excuse him from honouring his contract and playing out the year - particularly with the money he has been on!
I have never rated Armitage always considered him the playing version of Richo - well liked, a slow toiler, skills not quite there but St Kilda will give you a gig and even keep extending your contract.

Re: David Armitage
Armitage has been a very fine player for us. Always put in his best effort, and if you don't rate him, I suggest you go back to the 2016 season before he injured his back. He was absolutely outstanding. Injuries have ruined his recent seasons. He deserves a lot of respect from Saints fans, as far as I'm concerned

Re: David Armitage
He is and always has been a C grade midfielder even before his injuries he was the slowest midfielder in the AFL. The one decent season he had the club finished 20th in an 18 team comp..He was obviously close to Richo, as he should have been moved on years ago.cwrcyn wrote: ↑Thu 01 Aug 2019 4:15pm Armitage has been a very fine player for us. Why is he down? If the club were honest about things my reponses would be different...its getting back to the Hamill 2 weeks days.Joffa Burns wrote: ↑Thu 01 Aug 2019 5:48pmWell written elizabethr.elizabethr wrote: ↑Thu 01 Aug 2019 5:45pmYou sir are an untruthful cad and bounder who typifies all that is ugly and monstrous about the cowardly football fanbois.Impatient Sainter wrote: ↑Thu 01 Aug 2019 5:07pmHe is and always has been a C grade midfielder even before his injuries he was the slowest midfielder in the AFL. Re: David Armitage
Im not blaming others and I stand by my comments. I understand Dave is well liked, but his playing abilities have been hugely over rated by supporters and the club. He has been a battler for the club, but due to our list he has been ridiculously over paid for many yearsJoffa Burns wrote: ↑Thu 01 Aug 2019 8:31pmBlaming others for your poor reaction!Impatient Sainter wrote: ↑Thu 01 Aug 2019 7:01pmWhy is he down? Re: David Armitage
Come on Ted, you are the only ITK here that has access to players contracts.
I’m sure if you spill the beans on Hanneberys contract Impatient Sainter might share on Armo.
So what is Hannebery on Ted and how much are Sydney paying?
tedtheodorelogan2018 wrote: ↑Tue 18 Sep 2018 2:33pm
He will not be on 800k a year. Will also have a 5th year trigger option. Sydney will pay part of his salary too.

Good on him and I hope the break he is taking is so he can concentrate on trying to get a gig next year with GC.
He deserves nothing less.
I love Dave for what he’s done at our club
