So the head physio Wallace is flat out lying to everyone in his weekly video and it's being covered up by the entire club. E.g. Lethlean, Ratts, med staff, 40 odd players
It wouldn't be a day without a good conspiracy on this forum though I guess!
Don't tell anyone...but maybe Andrew Wallis and Hannas are reptilian shape shifters.

Anyone think that if he actually has gastro they might tell him to stay the f*** away from the club for a while?
Sheesh.

Re: Hanna's Gastro
Simon Lethlean recruiting an injury riddled and cooked 29 yo Hannebury for four years at $800,000 a year AND at the same time giving away a second round draft selection to Sydney is f****** stupidity.
Simon Lethlean offering 1.4 million a year for four, five, six, seven or how ever many years that nonsense was for Dylan Shiel which would have involved giving up pick four and sacrificing Max King... think about that... that is total f****** stupidity.
Talk about f****** stupidity.

Won't play again this season.
Not at senior level anyway.
But he would want to get himself right for the pre-season and wants to look after hie preparation for season 2020.
Otherwise he won't be the only one under the pump, that is for sure.

Re: Hanna's Gastro
What I do know from the recruitment of Hannerbury:
It has made the Kent deal look solid...cannot have enough solid depth.
I've stopped laughing at the Chris Mayne trade / deal
I look back longingly at the Lovett deal
I don't believe Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone, just as I don't believe Lethlean acted alone, Finnis would have been complicit. Bassat has to strong with these two.
I'm also worried about our new list manager just looking at some of the players recontracted and those contract lengths.

As our most reliable ITK, please provide some accurate data on what Dan actually gets paid and the actual term of his contract.
Other than your insight, I guess most will go with 5 years as reported on Saints.com and the $800k widely reported in the media and not refuted by the club.

Unless we have a printed copy of his contract then its approximates and guesses. Speculation really. Clubs never really detail what a player is actually on either so still speculation.

So we know the 5 year commitment is accurate, otherwise the club is lying to its supporters.tedtheodorelogan2018 wrote: ↑Thu 01 Aug 2019 10:07am Unless we have a printed copy of his contract then its approximates and guesses. So what you’re stating is those who speculate that he is on $800k are speculating, just as you are stating that he is not on that contract.
In other words you have absolutely not idea if it is accurate or not but choose to go with the line it is not accurate.
Thanks fir clearing that up Ted.

Pretty typical how some posters are happy to quote the media until it’s something that doesn’t suit their agenda, then the media is apparently clueless.

Re: Hanna's Gastro
I'm not talking about his contract length. I'm talking the $'s. We have no idea what it is unless you have access to the paperwork stored on the Moorabbin hard drives in Gallagher's office.Ghost Like wrote: ↑Thu 01 Aug 2019 10:40amSo you don't deal in speculation Ted?tedtheodorelogan2018 wrote: ↑Thu 01 Aug 2019 10:07am Unless we have a printed copy of his contract then its approximates and guesses. BTW, I have no issue with 5 years (even if its at 800k a year which is still wild speculation from the media). Its fair enough given Hannas is a 3 x AA that possesses a vast amount of finals expierence and leadership qualities. Given we only won 4 games last year, you have to pay a bit more to pry a bloke like that away from a club that he has been at all his life with good mates.
I also prefer long term patience and diligence over short term anger and impatience which is a bad human trait. Hannas is only 1 years into 5 years. Still lots more to play out here folks.
Anyway, the 800k is media speculation. Pure and simple driven by the likes of Barret who is constantly after headlines and sensationalism. Geez, I thought people were smarter than that. Maybe not.

Re: Hanna's Gastro
Those articles only mention what it is speculated he was on at Sydney. No mention of any figure he is paid at the Saints. No evidence at all it is 800k. It may well be 600k, how would we know? People seem to latch on to any figure mentioned and take it as gospel. If someone can produce evidence he is on 800k or whatever figure, fair enough.Joffa Burns wrote: ↑Thu 01 Aug 2019 9:53amWhich is part is incorrect?tedtheodorelogan2018 wrote: ↑Thu 01 Aug 2019 8:44am 800k at 5 years. 800k at 5 years...

I don't take much notice of the media, watching/listening/reading, in fact avoid it except for live matches, don't even watch pre or post match. You just get filled up with rubbish. Anyway, hopefully Hanners gets fully fit soon, because we need him adding to the team, not just leadership and enthusiasm outside match days.
