36 points Saints win
Posters that have admitted they were wrong about Hanna's gastro and the club didn't create a cover story.

Re: Margin vs the Cheeseboarders
I'm tending towards a Saints win by between 2-3 goals.
We caught out Bevo by playing
a very different style last week and he did try to adjust at qtr time.
Goodwin would have spent many hours going over the game video, pausing, rewinding, taking notes
Expect Preuss and Gawn to stop Marshall from grabbing the ball out of the ruck
Plus, I reckon Viney will stand right behind Roma to tackle him right away.
We win by 2-3, because we seem to have found our mojo, and we were down by 26 against Hawks
but came back, we held off the Puppies last week when they challenged.
Our F50s were incredibly efficient.
Remember the Filth game? Ball was in our F50 for most of a qtr, but we couldn't bloody score.

Viney may not play due to concussion.WellardSaint wrote: ↑Tue 23 Jul 2019 9:08pm I'm tending towards a Saints win by between 2-3 goals.

Melbourne are treacle slow and their midfield dont run the other way. Reckon they'll drop Preuss (who was quite last week) and bring in a runner. ( Spargo or Baker)
We can easily get them on turnovers as their skills are worse than ours. We just have to be strong at the contest and the results will take care of themselves.
Pleasing.

I'm thinking Mascarpone and maybe a bit of Chevre with an array of dry biscuits and a few dips.

Re: Margin vs the Cheeseboarders
We beat them by 45 points earlier in the year so I'll say 46 points this time round.
As ex-president Peter Summers said:
“If we are going to be a contender, we may as well plan to win the bloody thing.”

Re: Margin vs the Cheeseboarders
I think we can win, but remember our last two wins against them were at the G.
Ironically, they seem to play Marvel better now that they are an inside team that doesn't play bruise-free footy anymore under Goodwin, so it will be a tighter game, but Saints by 7 points in an arm wrestle where we score well under 100 points this week.

Sounds intriguing.Enrico_Misso wrote: ↑Tue 23 Jul 2019 9:43pm I'm thinking Mascarpone and maybe a bit of Chevre with an array of dry biscuits and a few dips.
What dips do you think?
Classic hummous? With a basil pesto for contrast? And maybe a beetroot purée for a splash of colour?

Re: Margin vs the Cheeseboarders
Beteasy has this:
St K $2.05
Dees $1.78
Line Dees -3.5 points
Now, odds are calculated by the agency purely based on how much money has been bet thus far.
They do their sums to maximise their profits.
The odds will move when final 22 is announced.
I suggest not many bets placed yet, as this is an unknown, our second game under new coach, and Dees
being inconsistent

Re: Margin vs the Cheeseboarders
I have a distinct feeling that this will be a WAY tougher game than we had last week (as deserved underdogs) Melbourne gave the reigning premiers a good contest last weekend. I expect a close game, with (hopefully) our kids just shaving it by a goal or two.
St Kilda forever ( God help me)

In fact it's wrong
The odds are actually framed by the bookmakers on their judgement of likelihood of a win... THEN adjusted as the bets are laid... Otherwise the Odds would start at even money...wouldn't they . The first punter would make a killing...,. The bookmakers would go broke

Re: Margin vs the Cheeseboarders
Currently Blues are 4 goals ahead of Crows in 3rd qtr.
Do we think our performance against Crows will reveal anything?
And how will we fare against the Bluebaggers?
