Richo Lap of honour last game at Marvel/Etihad/Colonial/Docklands
Breaking news...the club has agreed to a Lap of Honour by Alan Richardson in a convertible car, at the final Marvel game (appropriately, 'The Endgame').
In true St Kilda tradition, the car (supplied by Lethlean's old school mate) will have 2 flat tyres+a flat battery.
When it does enter the field, it'll aim for the gate but brush the fence. The car will then criss-cross aimlessy around the ground, going in reverse a lot, before finally leaving through a 'Pedestrian Access Only' exit.
This is, after all, St Kilda.

Better tell him to watch out for the M Voss speedbump on the wing!

That bump still gives me shivers when I see it!
As much as I loved those big hits back then, running past the footy to try and make someone a quadriplegic is something the game really hasn't missed.

The OP is disrespectful and inappropriate. Alan Richardson has not doubt tried his best. He left the club honourably. He deserves our respect moving forward.
Rugby League would have to be the stupidest, most moronic and over rated game of all time.

The car's trajectory is an analogy of our club's behaviour.
Broken down car from Lethers's mate?
Hanners. Nothing about AR
Driving criss-cross?
Our players playing 'keepings off'. Not AR
Aiming for gate but brushing fence?
Our guys' accuracy.
You're searching for offence instead of behaving like an adult.

You can’t “deserve” respect.happy feet wrote: ↑Thu 18 Jul 2019 7:23pm The OP is disrespectful and inappropriate. Alan Richardson has not doubt tried his best. He left the club honourably. He deserves our respect moving forward.
Respect is something bestowed on you by others when they perceive that you’ve earned it.
Unlike you, many people don’t think Alan earned it.
Suck it up and and get on with your life!

what a disgrace
only pathetic <edit by mods> person would put this on a forum for all to read.
Obviously this <edit by mods> has no feelings for a person who tried his best and did not say a bad word against anyone....

No the post is disrespectful and the fact that you are unable to see that proves you are not very bright.

Comedians are supposed to be funny.
This just isn't funny.

I found it more realistic than funny. Check out George Carlin .

Disrespectful.
Posters that have admitted they were wrong about Hanna's gastro and the club didn't create a cover story.

George Carlin was a comedic genius. I really don't see the comparison. The Fireman wrote: ↑Fri 19 Jul 2019 8:57am I found it more realistic than funny. Check out George Carlin .

However it would be appropriate to invite AR to the B&F.
I would like to see the President say some nice words, thank him for his contributions, wish him well for the future and say that he will always be a welcome visitor at Moorabbin.
... followed by a generous (though not barnstorming) round of applause.
That would be a nice way to close off the AR era.
