End of subject.
It is a porn term.
Use it and face some sort of ban - a day, a week or permanent.
in the Urban dictionary the definition of "Cho" is to lose ones state of mind; to go ballistic; to go postal
To exclusively say it's a porn term first and foremost is absolutely wrong and then for you to dictate to us these terms that it has one meaning is truly laughable
Cho can be used as a scientific acronym, a nickname, and a term or word that might have several different meanings according to several different 15 year old kids scattered across the globe with access to the interwebs
Stop trying to pigeonhole it and force your tunnelvision idea of what it means on us
The CHO is dead long live the CHO!
The term CHO was and is still permitted within the rules. That is what was decided.
When the word THE is placed in front of it ... it means something completely different and THAT is banned term for the reason listed above.

It's not the person, it's the term which is highly sick and sexual in nature which is known by a lot of young people.

Re: For Dudley...now Richo has departed...
The argument always goes back to one key point that proves me right
Anyone feel free to post one example of how that term was used in the reported context...
Just one example
It should be easy as there are at least 3 ppl on this forum that claim it happened repeatedly and sought to have forumites disciplined for it.
One instance...
The floor is yours

What happened was someone posted that it was a very obscene and highly offensive term so I googed it , never having heard the term or word before . I came up with the urban dictionary definition which simon actually knew. Hence the
ban. The rest of your post is pure crap.
Poster were bullshitting and in denial claiming that cho was a term of endearment for someone called Richardson.
IMHO, they knew exactly what they were doing and was in line with their normal insulting posting towards saints officials and richo in particular.
That is the very reason the rules had to be changed. Hasn't stopped you using the term though has it as it appears in the post from you that I have quoted.

Re: For Dudley...now Richo has departed...
I have never reported any poster for anything but the answer is quite simple.skeptic wrote: ↑Thu 18 Jul 2019 10:09am The argument always goes back to one key point that proves me right
Anyone feel free to post one example of how that term was used in the reported context...
Just one example
It should be easy as there are at least 3 ppl on this forum that claim it happened repeatedly and sought to have forumites disciplined for it.
One instance...
The floor is yours
It has been explained clearly by the moderator in the announcements area, including reference to one poster who deliberately used the term in the reported context. There were a few others, but I agree most others were not using it that way.
I am not going to waste my time going back to find more examples, would prefer that the issue fades away, as it should. I think Simon's summary explains it well. For the adults, it should be Cho case closed.

Not that you will even acknowledge this post as your the biggest culprit here but I challenge you to provide any evidence to back up your claimsaynta wrote: ↑Thu 18 Jul 2019 5:37pmI see you are rewiting history there.HardSaint wrote: ↑Tue 16 Jul 2019 7:40pmI still find it creepy that the whole issue about calling him"The Cho" got down to one or two posters actually knowing this obscure term and taking offence to it, based on them thinking it as a common term that everybody knew - says more about their porn habits than it does about our collective disrespectThe Linton Street Flash wrote: ↑Tue 16 Jul 2019 6:08pmIs it just me, or does anyone else find it kinda creepy that this guy continually calls Cho “Alan”?tedtheodorelogan2018 wrote: ↑Tue 16 Jul 2019 4:00pm ...can you please remove your avatar pic of Alan.
I can't wait to find out who the next avatar is.
Like, “hi Alan, I know it’s been a tough day today, can I drive you home? I have some boiled sweeities in the car. Come on Alan, the car’s just over there in the car park, what do you say Alan?...”
It’s really kinda icky...
I've run this by countless people, asking them if they're familiar with the term "Cho" or "The Cho" in a sexual context, even the young hip slang talkers n the shop floor - Nope, no one's ever heard of it
that this escalated into a bannable offense on this forum was as nuts as it was absurd

When it came to evidence, this little gem was brought up as means for them to justify their frequent attacks on forumites
When asked to give just one example of how that term was used to attack/demean the coach in anyway, they all frequently and consistently ignored the question.
Most everyone saw it for what it was... a smokescreen to justify bad behaviour
The point is that the forumites that kicked up a fuss about this term did not do so for any altruistic reasons... certainly had nothing to with Richo.
They levelled accusations at a number of forumites to try and get them banned
The regurgitation of the topic after Richo has gone is just the kiddies hoping to get their toy back. Still offensive though, hence still banned.
The rest of us couldn't give a fats rats clacker what some weirdos spend their playtime googleing. It would have disappeared without notice if you freaks hadn't decided to share your hobbies with us.
Holder of unacceptable views and other thought crimes.

Re: For Dudley...now Richo has departed...
From "back from us of a's" earlier post in this thread.
"The poster that ORIGINALLY used that term to reference our coach did so amongst other porn / smut filled posts referencing the coach and players. The original usage of that term was deliberately done and highly offensive. Others may have used it innocently or cheekily, but there is ZERO doubt that the original usuage was porn / smut inspired.
End of subject.
It is a porn term.
Use it and face some sort of ban - a day, a week or permanent."
All the proof needed I would have thought.
Those posters, now banned, knew what they were posting.

Re: For Dudley...now Richo has departed...
Same story every single time... claims that people were doing it, not one post ever seen as evidence of.
Quite deafening.
Quite deafening.
