Fair enough, time will tell. I think a change of voice and settling in a position will do wonders. I think he actually does have a dip, I also believe he makes great position but becomes a victim of poor decisions and rushed kicks by others.

I'll split the difference and say he's somewhere between Barlow and Mundy. No disgrace not being a Bont or Fyfe, they are freaks, Blake is not.

Sensible approach at least see what does under a different voice.

Not really, he lacks competitiveness and aggression, he cruises around the ground waiting for someone else to give him the ball.

Hopefully another club, preferably Freo see value in him and cough up a good trade for him.

I was a bit of a fan, not ridiculous like some people calling him GOAT or the next Bont/Fyfe.

But I’ve watched him closely recently, he lacks the will to impose himself on the contest, and does not run both ways. So, more like Michael Barlow than Fyfe

Everyone here has seen countless players come and go over the years.

We’ve seen early draft picks and high profile trades fail.

Rookies that never came through.

Over time you get a feel for someone that comes to the club that is a little bit special.

That is Blake Acres.

We aren’t fabricating some self indulgent fantasy. It’s not guess work.

Of course, we could all be wrong. But it burns when we never get to find out.

I’m excited to imagine. Richos legacy vibe is good, Ratten will be hungry, players will be up. Curious to see what happens to Newnes. Ratto can’t really fall on the “play the kids” so I am keen to see whether Ratto shows us a skeleton or improvises a more bits and pieces approach, trying this and that.

Firstly, I want Ratts to get the job. He was the coach who gave HARVEY a shot as assistant coach. He seems like someone who respected st Kilda players.

Secondly, for team selection, I’d look at his Carlton record. He was heavy on quality small forwards, and I wouldn’t be surprised if Gresham moves to the forward line again. He got Eddie going initially and I think he will really push the small forwards.

He also focused on the running types, so might still keep McKenzie over White but certainly won’t play DMac in the forward line.

Although not up to his best games, Sinclair had 14 possessions in little over 60 per cent game time, equal to around 20 if he had the same TOG as most other players.

I would rather have 14 of his disposals to any 20 of most of out players as he is one of our most creative users of the ball. There are many players who should be dropped

before Sinclair.

Sinclair, another who plateaued two years ago after developing nicely. The same as Newnes. For two years now I've watched both get games wondering what position they actually play and for what purpose.

I've seen enough of both for 2019. Let's have a look at Langlands and White for the last 6 games.

Two horrible seasons aren’t enough to prove Richo can’t coach but no significant change in the last 6 rounds will prove that we were harsh all along.

Give ratten a Chance to have an impact. The team has been trained to play a certain way, it will take time to play differently. All I hope is that player go back to their natural game and play in their best positions.

Also I hope he plays the best players based on form not on favouritism

There are 23 players at St Kilda who have only ever played an AFL match under Richardson. It'll be interesting to see how they respond to a new coach. It'll answer a lot of questions about several players, and should make list management a little clearer come the end of the season. Selection under Ratten will give an early insight.

Maybe three. I think Newnes played ok. Hind could find himself in trouble though as could Membrey.
