Positives were Clark & Coffield. They were both good and have to play every week now.
I’ve got to stick up for Acres. Played as a key forward, played as a ruckman, played as a defensive player, please Richo just give him a run in the middle like you do Seb and Gresh!!!
He has great faith in Blake
One day it may just all click and Blake blitzes

Too many players that cant tackle, that wait for the opposition to go for the ball, too much bruise free footy. Effort was good in the 2nd and that was it.
Probably only a handful of players that would off the trade table. We just lack hardness more than anything. Lots of blokes scared to get hurt

Did

Acres is a lazy dumb footballer, that’s why he’s not in the middle, actually in any position he’s a liability.

Why does everyone think he could be so good? What because he’s six foot three?

He will not play through the middle due to his lack of two way running

Nathan Brown has had a very good game. Tell me about all the wonderful things his opponent Tom Hawkins has done tonight.
First mark inside 50 to Hawkins all night. Beaten by Brown .
If the other backs had beaten their men as well as Brown on Hawkins we may have just been a bit closer.

We're not in it. We never are.

It's a mirage.

Our entire focus is to keep our opponents under control. As a result, kicking a winning score ourselves is simply not going to happen.

Even if we defend really well (which we don't), you're never going to hold a half decent team to 70 points.

Curly claimed (wrongly as usual) none of our tackles were rewarded.

Just setting him straight.

That's it. Blame the loss on a few players. Actually, why don't we just take all the players off the field and get Finnis, Sexton, Richo and all the medicos and fitness staff and development coaches and Dave O'neill and Mick Ryan and the board of directors out on the field.

Serioulsy...why is every week that people need to look for a scapegoat. What is it that you don't understand about a bottom 4 club with a bottom 4 team?

So Acres contesting for marks against Taylor is a good coaching move?

Is that you Richo?

That was another example of how we are unbelievably good at kicking to players where they are, instead of where they are going to be.

In the second half our bomb it inside 50 strategy made its way to the rest of the ground.

Second lowest scoring team for this year.

Haven’t scored over 100 points once, that’s an historical low.

Keep sticking up more mediocrity. And we wonder why we’ve won one flag in 100+ years.
