I’ve got to stick up for Acres. Played as a key forward, played as a ruckman, played as a defensive player, please Richo just give him a run in the middle like you do Seb and Gresh!!!

Well, we had two Mids and two forwards playing straight out defensive roles. Never going to win like that, but the scoreboard at least is respectable
Look at it this way
Geelongs better players were
Danger, Ablett, Selwood, Duncan
Who at StK can hold a candle to those 4
If they were at StK they would be the best 4 players

The third quarter was pathetic I agree because we went into our shell after some umpiring decisions went against us and gave them the ascendancy. Too many 50/50 frees to Geelong. One of the most biased umpiring displays I have seen in a very long time.
Fair effort from the boys in hostile territory v the no 1 placed team
Showed fight all game against the odds and we in the game up until half thru the last
26 to 14 free kicks against - enough said
Clark was class all night - Gresh finally got busy - DunstN and Steele held their own and didn't mind the few glimpses that Coff showed - few mistakes but it will hold him in good stead
We are more than a sniff against the Dogs next week
