Re: Coffield
Very ordinary OP. Bagging a 19 year old kid in his second season that had a good game in a hostile away ground against the top side.
Posters that have admitted they were wrong about Hanna's gastro and the club didn't create a cover story.

Re: Coffield
look back- posters were saying the same thing about Clarke not so long ago- yet tonight he showed his class! Coffield should play every game till the season end, maybe moving him up to the wing.
the invisible and the non existent look very much alike

Re: Coffield
Clark is going to be a really good player. Has poise and moves well in traffic. Coffield was still ok tonight.

Coffield
Wow.
I was just thinking how good it was he’d had a few in a row and was starting to look much more at home.
Did some good things. Keep playing him - have a look a what getting games into Hunter is now producing.

Coffield 14 games and only 19 was quite good tonight. He and Clark both showed that they have talent and a future.

Re: Coffield
Doesn't matter what any fuckstick thinks. What matters is that Nick's team mates support him and have faith in him.
Dunny just gave an interview and mentioned Coff is coming along nicely so the players see things differently. They don't turn around after every loss and look for scapegoats

Re: Coffield
Sinclair.....plays like what BT called Harry Taylor a few years ago. Any danger of playing with bit of mongrel?
Pushed out the way like a <edited by mods> far too often.
Same as Acres....when’s he gonna learn he is big and throw his body around?
I feel Ross has a go at least, just his skills as an overall result are very poor and let him down
Membrey is a perfect 3rd tall forward in a decent side.

Re: Coffield
Jordan Clark. That is someone progressing well.
Has pace, doesn’t take any s***, and it’s his first year.
Coffield a higher pick from 2 years ago....hmmmm

Re: Coffield
I was waiting for this thread, this will be the thread for those wanting to wipe the stinking rotten eggs off their faces when they bagged Clark after the GWS game.
You must really enjoy the stench of getting things so horribly wrong.

Re: Coffield
Jordan Clark. Backed by his coach, playing in a successful team surrounded by experienced hardened footballers with excellent onfield leadership, 14 games this season...fair difference there. From what I saw tonight, wasn't bad enough to deserve a thread about it!Annoyedsaint wrote: ↑Sat 13 Jul 2019 11:35pmJordan Clark. That is someone progressing well.

Re: Coffield
More of a frustration with him over two years to be fair.
When are we gonna find someone who we all go “oooohhh, he’s gonna be something”, rather than an also ran bits player like the other 19 we already have?
And as a top draft pick he deserves more scrutiny.
Bit different to a pick 50 for example.
The recruitment staff need to be sacked or put on notice. Any more of these types of players with top 10 picks and you are looking for a new job

Re: Coffield
I think the penny is going to drop for Coffield and Clark next season and they will be pivotal to our rebound out of defence for a decade. The penny may have already dropped for Clark who has Bont/Pendles traits.
