I’m sure he can play deep forward, in fact he should. Membrey is the one who is used poorly, but that’s out of necessity.

On the relief rucking
Why is everyone so up in arms about him or Acres doing 5 mins a quarter on the ball? Someone has to?! And who is a better option? It’s 5 mins of running around on the ball, getting some cheap possessions while trying to give a contest in the ruck?!
Just about every club does it, don’t see the big fuss?!

They WILL NOT choose a second ruckman because
1) we don’t have one, do you really want Rowe in the side
2) do you want our best ruckman/player spending less time in the ruck? While minutes are given to a garbage player like Longer. You cannot have a player playing 30% game time and hurting mid rotations so what do you do with a second ruckman while Marshall does his 70%
3) the best thing that’s happened to Marshall this season is the injuries to Pierce and Longer otherwise they may have played Marshall forward

Funny to say Hannebery and Kent wouldn’t get a game at another club when they’ve done exactly that in the last 12 months.
