Putrid reading
Not sure why people are getting upset about selectuon when you look at this abomination.....
We have 16 players that would get into other AFL sides, being generous.

Re: Putrid reading
But we’re only losing because of the coach aren’t we?!
The sad thing is, the reasonable players on that list have missed the majority of the season.
Marshall, is our best player... a 25 game Ruckman
Worst list since 85

Crap OP. Ridiculous.
Posters that have admitted they were wrong about Hanna's gastro and the club didn't create a cover story.

Considering Minchington got a second chance at Hawthorn I call the OP bollocks!

Re: Putrid reading
If Yes, theyre Carlton or Gold Coast players at best.
Coffield I think is a bust, but that’s just my very early assessment.
Dunstan and Membrey - Carlton, Hawthorn maybe
Geary - not sure who he’d end up at at his age, injury and capability.
Ben Long and Parker are luxury, flaky players and suited to clubs challenging, but neither are good enough.
Jack Lonie is s***, except for 4 good games.
Shane Savage wouldnt get a game anywhere else these days.

Many other clubs would love to have Tim.
Disagree with a number of you other maybes, but the Tim one is just ridiculous.

Can admit when I’m wrong.... probably harsh on him. Would like to see him kick us home in more games though.saintsRrising wrote: ↑Sat 06 Jul 2019 12:49amMany other clubs would love to have Tim.

Re: Putrid reading
Tim Membrey would be picked up in an instant by every other club in the competition, and they'd be willing to cough up a pretty fair price for him, too

Re: Putrid reading
It's worth remembering that other AFL clubs chose to put Hugh Goddard and Mav Weller on their lists for this year.

Re: Putrid reading
ss1986 is entitled to his opinion, as he has previously pointed out when challenged about his posts. Again, he defends his opinion which, I believe, is always going to be jaundiced.
It is just his way of letting everybody know he / she / whatever is not a happy StKilda supporter.

Clearly you don't understand the meaning of the word truth and the context as it should be applied. I suppose that can happen when you cut and paste from other threads.

Re: Putrid reading
Each list needs 45 odd players
25 or so Senior players and a few fringe players about 8 back ups and about 6-8 kids developing in the VFL
Goddard, Weller and Minch were recruited as back up players
Remember we recruited a 30yo Sam Rowe FFS

Re: Putrid reading
Please.
Not a single club would take them now.
Sydney laughed their ass off when we took Hannebery.
Melbourne are going so well they could afford to get rid of Kent ay? They knew he was shite.

Bruce is the most overrated player we have. One season wonder.Life Long Saint wrote: ↑Sun 07 Jul 2019 12:52pmStopped reading here!

Re: Putrid reading
Whatever!
He's being played in a role where he's not suited. He should be using his assets of speed and endurance (a bit like Roo) but he has to play deep forward and relieving ruck because of a combination of putrid coaching, player development, and injuries.
West Coast is the only club he might struggle for a consistent game...but if Hickey plays weekly, then I'm sure Bruce gets a game.
