Sounds like another home run...

Re: Saints offer big money for untried ruckman
WTF? Is it April Fools Day again. This club is a joke!
As ex-president Peter Summers said:
“If we are going to be a contender, we may as well plan to win the bloody thing.”
St Kilda - At least we have a Crest!

Dudley - sometimes I reckon you can be a bit too harsh , but wow : this move by the Saints is truly staggering. Don’t they have any feeling for the huge level of frustration at risky picks gone wrong ? Truly playing with fire here.

Sure does. I cannot believe what I just read. Lethlean & co are a recipe for disaster. Wake up St Kilda board before it is too late!

Untried.....OK
Broken....please no, what the hell makes this club think it can fix broken players?
Paddy, Hannabury, King, Bytel, Freeman...

Re: Saints offer big money for untried ruckman
Has anyone here bagging the possible recruitment of this bloke ever heard of him or even watched him play before?
We have FT professional recruiting and list management staff watching and talking to players like Draper.
Pretty sure they might have more of a clue than us against reading 1 fox footy article which might not even be fully accurate. Crazy thought I know but maybe include it in your analysis.

Posters that have admitted they were wrong about Hanna's gastro and the club didn't create a cover story.

Really? How about a player that doesn't come damaged? That is our point Ted. Pure and simple.tedtheodorelogan2018 wrote: ↑Mon 24 Jun 2019 10:57pm Has anyone here bagging the possible recruitment of this bloke ever heard of him or even watched him play before?

A bloke with NO afl background, NEVER played AFL, just did his ACL and is in recovery. Known Knee tendinidis issues .... and we give this guy a 4 yr 1.7m contract
We are beyond a joke now.

Re: Saints offer big money for untried ruckman
And exactly how "damaged" is he?
Have you talked to the player or his doctor or manager?
No, of course not. You have NFI like the rest of us. I bet no one has even heard of him.
For all we know he will be ready for pre-season and his body will be a 100% fine. He might be a great ruck prospect that all recruiters are massive on.
Geez this place is moronic sometimes.

That's what you were saying about Hannebery Ted. We have enough project players.....ever wondered why we continually have such a long injury list?tedtheodorelogan2018 wrote: ↑Mon 24 Jun 2019 11:08pm An exactly how "damaged" is he?

Re: Saints offer big money for untried ruckman
Would have cost half as much to get rid of Richo in June last year.
Would have meant that Clarkson would have at least had an instant job available with the Saints if he wanted to explore his options with us. In August 2018 there was already talk that Ratten was going to be offered a position at the Saints so if we were to offer Clarko the head coaches role, at least Clarko would have been comfortable with people around him that had proven to be competent
Clarko ended up signing on with the Hawks in October 2018.

Re: Saints offer big money for untried ruckman
ummm bombers did play zac clark this year whilst this guy was not injured, was this rumour started by a Essendon fan? and no doubt the minimum trade price would be 5 first rnd draft picks

As much as anyone would love Clarkson, we have to admit we would be so far down his choice of club.Crossy66 wrote:Clarko must be kicking himselfScollop wrote: ↑Mon 24 Jun 2019 11:22pm Would have cost half as much to get rid of Richo in June last year.

We wouldn’t even be his backup plan.

If he's got mental health issues or a pre-existing medical condition he should fit in really well.

Re: Saints offer big money for untried ruckman
Oh with the possibility of McCartin and Roberton retiring at seasons end we can afford to offer big money for another injured player to join our list.
Supporters please wake up and dont let the guys running our club slowly keep destroying it with their recruitment decisions.
WTF are we doing.

Re: Saints offer big money for untried ruckman
Apart from the ACL (Look up what that means Ted), he is a Dons listed player and so we would have to trade to get him.
I assume that apart from being injured that he has atrocious disposals skills and that is why we are targeting him.
