Lets do something we're really good at. Sack the coach.
In Springfield, they're eating the dogs. The people that came in, they're eating the cats. They’re eating – they are eating the pets of the people that live there.

Probably the worst quarter of football I have seen in my 34 years as a st kilda supporter.. I honestly can't remember such garbage it looked like men against boys. Richo has to go, seems like a nice guy but we can't stand for that pathetic crap

Can you think of anyone that would want the job?
*Allegedly.

I think Richo knows full well he is nearing the end - was in his voice on tv just then
It's a little sad to watch

Hang on Portosaint, I coach Little Athletics, and I object to you bringing them into it . We don’t just give blue ribbons away at Little Aths . White ones yes, but not blue.portosaint wrote: ↑Sat 22 Jun 2019 7:36pm Wouldn't Fagan have been licking his lips Thursday night at the thought of coming up against a team with all of Ross, Dunstan, Armitage and Hannebery?
Ludicrous that they would all play in the same team.
We'd struggle to get a blue ribbon in the 400m at little athletics out of that lot.

I hope we get done by 100. Something needs to be done.

they look lost, no system or game plan, the Brisbane players know where to be..at the drop of the ball way in front of any ST player. Admittedly they are showing some classy talent something we have in small amounts but unable to implement.

I’ll take it.satchmo wrote:Can you think of anyone that would want the job?
Hundreds of thousands of dollars and all I’d have to do is, well not much really.
Then I’ll get sacked.
Then I can say to the board ‘See, how hard was that?’

It's just not the coach, but better recruiters as well.
At least in the 80's we had hope with Plugger, Frawley etc.

Fully agree - terrible list, worse midfield.Bruce G McAbee wrote: ↑Sat 22 Jun 2019 7:44pm It's just not the coach, but better recruiters as well.

Newnes most consecutive games in Saints history - the worst consecutive games in history
Positive is Hind
Another positive is that once Richo is sacked, Newnes might FINALLY be dropped

Commentators said in the last quarter we were 'panicked'. Totally false. We're indifferent and that's much worse. Disgraceful display.

Every week there’s a positive. This year we’ve had Kent, Parker, Hind, Wilkie, Battle......but then they fall away. Why?saintadamski wrote: ↑Sat 22 Jun 2019 7:46pmFully agree - terrible list, worse midfield.Bruce G McAbee wrote: ↑Sat 22 Jun 2019 7:44pm It's just not the coach, but better recruiters as well.

Because there is no inspiration, no spark, no confidence, no leadership. I simply cannot accept that all the young fellas on our list are as rubbish as they are playing. If they looked like a confident team, their skills would all of a sudden improve dramatically.

I look forward to Kent etc. kicking some junk time goals so they can justify getting picked next week!

Incompetent administration. Poor decisions leading us to have a keep a coach for financial reasons when it was clear as day he should have been sacked last year.magnifisaint wrote: ↑Sat 22 Jun 2019 7:49pm Why do we need to put up with this bulls*** year after year after year. Why??

This is the way that opposition teams like us.
Weak and harmless and inoffensive.
No threat.
Inexplicably loyal to a useless coach.
That's why Carey ludicrously called Richo "coach of the year".

Is Newnes taking the Mickey
As ex-president Peter Summers said:
“If we are going to be a contender, we may as well plan to win the bloody thing.”
St Kilda - At least we have a Crest!
