Good stuff Curly. This thread is back where it should be - focussing on the match , and bagging the umpires .

Was thst really stupid for Membrey to not chip it 15m to Billings, instead of taking that shot?
Would have taken another 30 seconds off the clock. Game over.

wtf is Richo smiling for at the end... we would have lost to every other team with that performance. Brandon White.. love his effort but can't play a guy forward who misses 2 shots from the same spot 20 meters out...

Glad we won by only playing a quarter of football. I dont care if Richo is still coach as long as we keep winning each week.

Honestly, one of the worst displays I have seen where we've won.
We snatched that. Stole it. Pinched it.
All on the back of a good 15-20 minutes against a terrible side. Even with all the injuries, spare me...
Always happy to win - and glad we won this - but still can't fathom how we are 6-6 and playing like this.

Re: Match Thread Saints v Suns of Beaches Round 13 2019
Well we won and it was a gutsy win. But we kicked 9 goals in a quarter and a half and could only manage 2 for the rest of the game.
Richo is till coach for at least 2 more weeks, but a lot will depend how we tackle Brisbane next week. If Hannerbury gets through this weekend's game with Sandy I expect he will play next week.
Hunter Clark played the best he has so far this season and Hind and White did enough to earn another game.
Still have major problems to work out.

White was playing forward because he was on one good leg. Still gave us more in the air than Bruce did for most of the day.Tom_Sainter wrote: ↑Sat 15 Jun 2019 5:29pm wtf is Richo smiling for at the end... we would have lost to every other team with that performance. Re: Match Thread Saints v Suns of Beaches Round 13 2019
Happy for Richo, pretty sure it would have been the end of the road with a loss. But I think the way we played probably confirms the inevitable at season end.
Game plan changed and we lowered the eyes (except for Ross) and lifted work rate. I think our group is talented and not performing to the standard they should and that rests with the coaches. But a wins a win and at 6-6 we are still alive with some big inclusions ofer the next few weeks. Thought Armo was a major factor in our comeback with some important touches - well done Dave
