Brad Scott spent the weekend at the Sheraton Mirage on GC and was specifically asked about links or interest in Saints coaching job should it become available at end of season.
Direct response was a big NO, no discussion or contact with anyone and no interest.
Make of it what you will, people always deny but he strikes me as a pretty honest straight forward family type of guy.
I doubt he’s been sounded out as yet for the Saints gig as some have alluded here.
He did meet with a GCS power broker whilst there.

If we win a few more games then Alan will be our coach without doubt.
The same calm, rational and logical decision making process that was made last year will surely have to be repeated. Injuries have absolutely cruelled us and the result of the China game was out of everyone's hands. Blind Freddy can see it.

Its good that Scott is not interested, but less so that we cant even attract the interest of a hack like Brad Scott. Who said we are a destination club - we seem like a 3rd class citizen in the AFL fraternity.

Great news. Since he was sacked we are seeing a revitalised Roos. Playing as team and with freedom. He has been holding them back for last few years. Has too many favourite players based on perceived endeavour but largely lack necessary skills. Been a poor developer of talent in recent years as well.
