Brad Scott
Possibly to part ways with North as soon as this weekend. Tom Browne suggested we might be interested. Why would we want him. After 10 years as coach of the Roos has he been successful? I think not.

Re: Brad Scott
What would Tom Browne know, he's just a Journo talking shite.
Brad Scott is full of it, why would we want that bell end at the Saints.

The Saints are under review, will it make any difference to the underachievers ?

there's 2 contracts involved.twirlyhair wrote: ↑Fri 24 May 2019 7:57pm Strong mail that there is going to be a direct swap and announced if Saints lose to Blues.
There's also assistant coaches etc who would have gotten used to the respective head coaches,
I give this rumour as much credence as the USA claiming they put a man on the moon.
It's unlikely and improbable.

Re: Brad Scott
No way.
Would rather keep Richo even after the last couple of years. (I know, I know .... ...that's how much I don't want Thug Scott at the Saints )
We don't want to lose Ratten to the Blues or Roos either. If Richo is gone we already have our succession plan ready to go. F*&# off North.
Stop mentioning St Kilda in the press.
Nothing to do with us ...nothing to see....move on .......

Brad Scott has strong links with Simon Lethers.
Posters that have admitted they were wrong about Hanna's gastro and the club didn't create a cover story.

Re: Brad Scott
So the implication is that Richo is a dead man walking unless he pulls a rabbit out of the hat.
In Springfield, they're eating the dogs. The people that came in, they're eating the cats. They’re eating – they are eating the pets of the people that live there.

Re: Brad Scott
Damaged goods. Can Join Hird on the scrap heap or perhaps job share with his twin. North must have a replacement very short list to make such an early call. At least we get a preview of the emerging coaching talent that is waiting in the wings. Both coaches boxes will be just that little more tense Sunday.

Be nice to see Richo go mid season. Bringing back Long just because it’s Indigenous round is the last straw for me.magnifisaint wrote: ↑Fri 24 May 2019 9:13pmSo the implication is that Richo is a dead man walking unless he pulls a rabbit out of the hat.

Re: Brad Scott
Tom Morris, I think, said that there is a trigger clause for Richo- if we don't win a final, he won't get 2020.magnifisaint wrote: ↑Fri 24 May 2019 9:13pmSo the implication is that Richo is a dead man walking unless he pulls a rabbit out of the hat.
Is Tom Morris the journo who tweeted about Jack Reiwoldt undergoing scans, and the 'results",
then Jack R responded "unless you can time travel, you were guessing" because Jack wasn't booked in till later that arvo.
Morris is a fabricator...

Re: Brad Scott
win:loss is 50.0%
210 coached, 105 wins, 105 losses.
50% is better than the man we are currently paying $650k per annum.

Re: Brad Scott
I think he has been pretty successful with North, a minnow Melbourne club like us in this era of rigged expansion. I don't know if those list choices were his call or not or whether he should take resposibililty for them.66Iwasthere wrote: ↑Fri 24 May 2019 7:52pm ... On what evidence? they topped up with Dal et al and got nowhere.
Also, he's got a weak chin and a pouty voice. And I hate that.

Re: Brad Scott
9 seasons, 50% win ratio, 4 finals series (plus 9th three times), 2 prelims finals...
Compared to Mr 33% who’s best result in 5 years is one 9th place, which people use as an example of why he’s actually a good coach...
I think the evidence is pretty clear.

Re: Brad Scott
well, SEN on their website, have the headline about "Brad Scott News"
Disgraceful.
It's not "news".
It is "rumour" or "gossip".
"News" has to be fact-checked with validity and accuracy confirmed.
A meteor was seen over Victoria and NT recently, causing a bright green flash.
Is it "news" to report it as a possible UFO, or a test of a secret US aircraft from Tindal airbase in the NT?
They worked out it's a meteor and reported this correctly as "News".
