Weather he will play in 2 weeks or next century its still a really poor decision by the club to give him that amount of money for such a long time.
What does it matter if it is raining or sunny? Will the state of the ground affect his ability to play? If so maybe we need to look at bringing him in through the seniors as opposed to Sandy - as the VFL is more susceptible to unkind conditions.

I was at the 40+ members function at the club this afternoon and Alan Richardson said that Hanners will play his first game for Sandringham against Coburg on Sunday 2nd June.
