Well said Tony - most of the true Saints people are 100% supportive of Jack who has given us so many great games.

The drawback in that is that they may then pounce on Ratten

What do you expect with the click-baity opening post that hints at some major issue then refuses to give any details?saintsRrising wrote: ↑Sun 19 May 2019 7:22pmSo others please desist from wild speculation on both of these points please.
What else could it involve that the club would be happy to see him leave?

I do not believe that the club is happy to see him leave at all.
Tony74 has also since posted that the club want him.

Tony, what happens inside club walls wouldn't get out thru the grapevine. Otherwise, Bolton will find out.
Remember Ro$$ Lyin?
He negotiated with Freo behind his manager's back (Craig Kelly) because Kelly also managed Mark Harvey.
Kelly had plenty of words for ol' Rossy.

Sorry to confuse you Scollop. The smoke reference was more “where there’s smoke, there’s fire”.
And Jack was there thru Nettlefold and Watters and stayed, so he’s not gonna leave for Finnis and Richo...

Thanks Tony.
Posters that have admitted they were wrong about Hanna's gastro and the club didn't create a cover story.

Fair enough, although I should have said there’s no need for an apostrophe or an “s”.

There’s still an element at Carlton who wanted rid of him, so it would be no surprise if he doesn’t want to return theresaintsRrising wrote: ↑Sun 19 May 2019 7:46pmThe drawback in that is that they may then pounce on Ratten

Re: Jack Stevens Trade
Well he actually said: "The boys are up big time. Great training. Play the MCG well. I think it will be a big day."
From what I saw we were up and we played the G well. Yes we faded in the last quarter but those first three quarters could well have had us well up on one on the benchmark teams this year.
There therefore think Tony74s comment was actually pretty accurate.
Yes Tony74 is somewhat of an optimist, but he always tells us what he thinks. No one is 100% accurate.

And if your Aunty had balls she would be your Uncle. My point is he doesn't know much more than the average Joe it's just his opinion . I take what he say's with a grain of saltsaintsRrising wrote: ↑Sun 19 May 2019 11:43pmWell he actually said: "The boys are up big time. Great training. Play the MCG well. It's just plain rude of you not to respect his information. He's a valued friend on here.
He (like most intelligent people) state their opinion of what might happen, based on the best info they have to hand. If it turns out to be wrong it doesn't mean they're not to be trusted.
If you ask a meteorologist what the weather's going to be they're much more likely to give an accurate opinion than the rest of us. Doesn't mean they'll get it right every time.
Tony74, don't let comments like Guitar4's put you off.
