Kent held it about as long as Reid but no mark.

You are a joke.
Stop SPAMMING the thread with your incoherent umpire rambling.
Talk about the bloody footy. Umpiring has been fine.

Re: Match Thread Saints v Magpies Round 9 2019
Same old story, poor delivery and forward line always congested making it impossible to score.
We must be so easy to defend against, if the opposition can manage 12 goals, they'll win 9 times out of 10.

A lot of players not doing much
As ex-president Peter Summers said:
“If we are going to be a contender, we may as well plan to win the bloody thing.”

Re: Match Thread Saints v Magpies Round 9 2019
Can someone tell me if there is still a free kick paid for holding the ball or dropping the ball, or have they shelved that like shaking the goal post???
We caught them 3 or 4 times that quarter and it was play on!!!
WTF

Or if it was a mark - then so was Kents

Anyone else notice Mackenzie's kicks and handballs are always getting smothered.
He does some great defensive work but don't our coaches also need to look at how much he's costing us on the turn over?

Re: Match Thread Saints v Magpies Round 9 2019
It was the 50 paid and his sprint that allowed space in the forward line thereby allowing a hit up pass. Virtually impossible to hit up players when pies have time to get defensive structure s in place. Pies can do it because they have superior midfielders. This is where we lose.

Sometimes they pay them sometimes they don’t. Young 50? Pendlebury holding the ball? Swings and roundabouts.
Spamming the thread about umpiring is pointless. The umpiring has been fine.

Re: Match Thread Saints v Magpies Round 9 2019
Our handballing skills are woeful. Our players are barely making contact with ball and we end up with these dribbly end over end or looping handballs, so if they do hit their target they make it hard for the receiver and slows down our movement. We're fumbling everything because of bad disposal.
And why are we letting them get so many easy out the back possessions? They're just lining up out the back of each contest. Not a Saint in sight!
Frustrating to watch.

Their midfield is killing us
If it continues then most of our forwards will be struggling
How about Cho makes some moves which perhaps gives us a chance
Well done to Sincs then

How much better does an open forward line look.
