Look at who we have at full forward...Maxy King! I wish the kid well and hope he gets through the game OK without any issues with the knee.
Good Luck Maxy!

The Maxkingnator. Go big boy!
Posters that have admitted they were wrong about Hanna's gastro and the club didn't create a cover story.

Re: Victoria Park this weekend. A Beyond Blue focus
..Possibly?
I hope Max King is not lined up by the VFL magpies.
Victoria Park has rarely been a happy place for St Kilda and associated players, including debutants over the many decades.
The AFL magpies lined up Jack Watts and bullied him several years ago in his first game at the MCG.
Some believe that Jack Watts never fully recovered from that initial encounter.
Best wishes Max...May Victoria Park grant you a far better experience than that of hundreds of your predecessors.

Re: VFL Rd 6 Sandy Vs Collingwood
I know he's going to be a while before Maxy gets into the seniors but jeez we need another tall forward. Bruce can't handle the best defender and Members is at his best when he's the third banana. Shame Paddy hasnt been on the park. We'll look so much better with King in the mix. King will demand the best defender purely because of his height and the other two will get off the chain.
Mind u this all counts for naught if we dont get our F50 entries right.

In for Long
As ex-president Peter Summers said:
“If we are going to be a contender, we may as well plan to win the bloody thing.”
St Kilda - At least we have a Crest!

Surely. He's been putting his name in front of selectors week after week. Would love to see another Rooster on the park, that Wilkie doesn't go half bad.

Re: VFL Rd 6 Sandy Vs Collingwood
left ground after half as dark clouds were forming
from what I saw/ could see young was the stand out up front an. Hunter was killing it in the middle
King was just ok to be honest and I will take that for game one. Kicked a goals, few touches, one good mark I saw that was disallowed. He will be better for the run.
I was more forward than back so can't add much regarding defense but in the first qtr I saw Hind motor down a few players so his speed is real

Re: VFL Rd 6 Sandy Vs Collingwood
Win to Sandy by one point.
7.14 56 points to 8.7 55 points.
Must of kicked for goal poorly.

Re: VFL Rd 6 Sandy Vs Collingwood
So I’m hoping King was rested in the second half as his stats were not added to. Can someone confirm or deny this please
