Hunter Clark
Massive fail so far this year.
Reminds me of Billings as a teenager. Maybe Hunter will come good in 2021.
Bit over always waiting for players to develop.
Give me a Parker 23 year old over all this waiting shyte.
Effing over it.

Re: Hunter Clark
Has gone backwards this year but hopefully he will turn it around soon.It would be difficult for a young bloke to shine in a team that doesn't seem to have a game plan & are lacking depth & confidence at the moment.

Re: Hunter Clark
Good to see that even with all our injuries we canβt find a permanent spot in our team for a couple of top 10 draft picks

Re: Hunter Clark
A really disappointing start
By all accounts he was flying in the preseason and then had great form in the JLT. The real stuff starts and heβs fallen off a cliff. Looks miles off it

Re: Hunter Clark
Remember it differently. Remember the club saying he was flying... people who went to the intraclub saying they didnβt really see him and then his JLT fr being really disappointing

Re: Hunter Clark
That apologist attitude doesnβt excuse him from having almost zero presence.
Itβs not his fault our master coach made yet another selection blunder - I was not happy with him being selected for this game. Hind, a mature aged draftee, wouldβve been a much better option IMHFO.

Re: Hunter Clark
Hunter struggled today, there's nothing wrong with giving him a run in the 2nds, perhaps we could try Hind or Coffield, and don't forget Luke Dunstan - he was thrown in the deep end as a kid - and performed admirably - he deserves plenty more chances.

Re: Hunter Clark
Our player development is Fkn putrid... Coffield and Hunter were extremely high rated and looked inspired the selection... disgusting development pathway we have.
Now our first this year is coming off a knee, is a Key position (takes longer) and been out of the game for over a year, imagine his development.
Not to mention Paddy his development was absolutely atrocious too

Re: Hunter Clark
More crap. Players develop differently and some take longer than others for a multitude of different reasons. Anyone with any skerrick of footy intelligence would understand this.ss1986 wrote: βSat 04 May 2019 8:12pmSo is Jaidyn Stephenson, Aaron Naughton, Tim Kelly, Liam Ryan, Jack Higgins, James Worpel and TOM F****NG MCCARTINtedtheodorelogan2018 wrote: βSat 04 May 2019 7:49pm Is this serious?

I think we just need to keep playing him. He has the goods. It will turn for him. Judge him after 50-60 games, not 20.

Re: Hunter Clark
I agree just need to keep playing him get some games into him because he does have tools to be an A grader not sure about Coffield though not filling me with a lot of confidence so fartwirlyhair wrote: βSat 04 May 2019 10:27pm I think we just need to keep playing him. Re: Hunter Clark
Nine contested marks so far tonight 14 in total . I said last year why didn't we look at him because I actually saw him play a few games in Perth before the draft & he looked really good & got abused by some posters for my comment .Clark & Coffield are struggling & he is owning it this year.

Re: Hunter Clark
Judge him after 60 games..pff..maybe for dead sh.ts who can't walk and chew gum at the same time.
Clark has gone backwards. Doesn't seem to have any presence at all. All of his performances this season have been completely ineffectual. Concerning.
