Re: Match Thread Saints v giants Round 7 2019
Our use of the ball is shocking.
We dominate large periods of play, have countless I50s and can't generate a shot on goal.
When we finally do get a shot, we miss (see Parker and Kent this quarter).
Our ball use and skill level is appalling, decision making is terrible. Effort can only take you so far - we need the composure to choose the right option and execute.
To cap it off, almost EVERY time they go forward, they score.
Shocking

And just like that it's over.
Where are our small forwards.
Where are our small forwards.
Think of me long enough to make a memory.

Re: Match Thread Saints v giants Round 7 2019
Jade Gresham needs to be off the ground and having a new one ripped. What a goal hungry hog. This bombing forward is a joke. Sorry but this is disgusting. Parker kicks that goal we are inside 2 goals. They go coast to coast goal and it is a blow out. Our forward line is laughable. Josh Bruce might find himself in the 2s if his form doesn’t improve. He is a down hill skier. When was the last time you saw us find an open player in our fwd 50?

Kent & Gresham with their selfishness because of very poor games cost us badly. So much for team fellas.

There'll be posters still giving him the votes as St Kilda's best player

You have the best ff in the league playing and you drop your best defender. WTF. Lost at selection table. What a disgrace. How to strip belief from young men. I hope they sack you this week Richo

Re: Match Thread Saints v giants Round 7 2019
Ross massively overrated. Parker’s 9 possessions are worth 3 times as much as the rubbish Ross accumulates. What a poor excuse for a midfielder. Played 1 good game against the Dawks then started reading the papers.
Shows how much Stuv matters .. otherwise we’d just be left with Ross’s pretty, yet useless stats.

Lets write the script now. GWS put cue in rack and we come close and we drink our own bathwater thinking how close we came. I am disgusted with Richo dropping Brown (cant you tell) and for playing bruce last week. These boys were just starting to believe and he pulls shite like that. Didnt he promise Jack Steven we werent rebuilding to keep him here.

Re: Match Thread Saints v giants Round 7 2019
Parker miss was a big turning point. It would have put us just over a goal behind. It was swept up the other end for a goal and they then went on with it.
Inside 50 count was 51 to 29 Saints way just before 3/4 time. Our use of the ball very poor.

But is it??? I was prepared to back the club for getting people around richo. But I think its time to eff him off. That may give us another win, the old sacked coach theorySpecial wrote: ↑Sat 04 May 2019 4:53pmThe positive is that it’s another nail the coaches coffin.mullet wrote: ↑Sat 04 May 2019 4:51pm Lets write the script now. We’ve lowered our eyes
As ex-president Peter Summers said:
“If we are going to be a contender, we may as well plan to win the bloody thing.”
St Kilda - At least we have a Crest!

That 50 goal season from Bruce is the biggest outlier in recent memory

Re: Match Thread Saints v giants Round 7 2019
I’m ok with that now. I was up for giving <edited by mods> Cho a go until he admitted to recklessly playing an injured Bruce last week. Yes, we’re missing good players but our skills haven’t improved AT ALL under his entire watch (& development is supposed to be his strong suit)mullet wrote: ↑Sat 04 May 2019 4:56pmBut is it??? He would have kicked a bag today playing for GWS.The_President wrote: ↑Sat 04 May 2019 4:59pm That 50 goal season from Bruce is the biggest outlier in recent memory
Plugger would struggle with our forward set up.
