Changes v Crows

Post: # 1786375Post Jacks Back »

Geary has had an op for a corked thigh and won't be playing this week at least.

Crows have a tall forward line so does Joyce or Marsh come in for Geary?

Out: Geary (injured), maybe Parker (due to not doing much - 8 possessions, 3 tackles, 1 goal)
In: Coffield, maybe Young

There will be a few Sandy players having a red hot dip today.

As ex-president Peter Summers said:
“If we are going to be a contender, we may as well plan to win the bloody thing.”

Joyce played 2 games?
I'd have him in before Marsh...

Parker had 8 possessions, yep,
but AFL stats show he had 12 pressure acts, whatever they are,
so maybe he does what Mav was doing, only better.
At least he has 2nd n 3rd efforts.
And him and Long spent 1/3 of the game on the bench, the longest pine-sitters in the team.

Are they burst players? I think Ben got treatment on the boundary for a bit.
Interesting that Blacres had 21 touches along with 22 pressure acts, so he did get amongst it a helluva lot

If Dmac is fit he will replace Geary, otherwise White will come in.

Looks like the Gold Coast Suns have played the Crows back in form.

White for Geary. Only change.

Margin vs Crows?
I think Crows to win by 3 goals.
They're back in form, having lost to Norf n Cats,
we might get outcoached

Thanks for that. A bit of a bogey team, so a big test since they are back in form

The Crows might be a bit like Melbourne last week. The Swans are struggling and all the talk was Dees are back after beating them. I think the Dees thought the same. Crows are in a similar position all the talk will be Crows are back. Its a 50/50 game Saints are playing great footy. Bring it on.

Hopefully we will put a lot more pressure on their midfield than the Suns did.

I think McKenzie has ongoing concussion issues, a bit like Paddy so probably will spend a couple more weeks on the sidelines as a precaution.

I would be tempted to s*** Newnnes back to half back and bring Dunstan onto a wing, not a big buyer of Dunstan simply on his disposal skills but he is hard and certainly finds it enough.

If Jenkins comes back in we may need to look at Marsh or White.

Jenkins won’t play. Dropped this week and only got 11 possessions in SANFL

Clark or White to come in for Geary and I'd give Paton the job on Betts

White.

Been good for Sandy for a few weeks now.

The Tasmanian bogun can handle Betts.

Niel Craig got the sack immediately after this match

If either we or Crows lose by a similar margin I wondr if history could repeat

We either win by 2 goals or they win by 4.
The way we're going, if we're only down by 3 after 1/2 time, we'll run over them.
We came back against Hawks, we shoulda won in Perth but for inaccuracy.

Is Josh Bruce OK for the Adelaide game, rumor is he is only 50/50....

If he doesn't get up, who replaces him?

Bear in mind, he's pretty much our main tall forward and also backup ruckman.

Would we simply bring Longer into the ruck and move Marshall forward?
