4. Tim Membrey - clean marks today and straight kicking.
3. Blake Acres - he showed what we have been waiting to see for years - a touch of class with strong work ethic.
2. Callum Wilkie - how nice it is to suddenly have a few quality backmen - with height!
1. Seb Ross- strong in the centre despite a losing ruck.

Nearly all others were very good, and as others have noted elsewhere, it was 2009 tackling back again. Today, there was a bit of "champagne football" to go with it.

3. Geary - Anzacs would love to look sideways and see somebody like JG standing next to them in the trenches. One day, he'll get the respect and recognition he deserves.
2. Kent - this match showed why he was recruited. Hard as nails, converted well and will have left thousands of demons supporters crying in their chardonnay.
1. Savage - had the ball on a string running out of the backline, continually broke down the Demons composure.

Forgetting the scores, the third quarter was near perfection from the Saints.
