Re: Team Round 5
pretty straight forward changes however it was the emergencies that have got my attention
Young, Marsh, Hind, Joyce.
Couple not quite 100% to go I'm guessing?

Re: Team Round 5
Yes agree.
Kent lucky. But against his old team one thought the club would retain him. Another quiet one may see Hind in against the Crows.
Pleased to see that Paton was retained as he did nothing wrong and so much right. Dmac being injured kept him in, even though Geary returned.

Re: Team Round 5
The Dees turfed Oscar McDonald and Stretch, bringing in Jetta and some geriatric.

Re: Team Round 5
Steven obviously a huge in and will provide headaches for Melbourne coaching team.
Ross Steven Gresh JB Manof running through the middle..
Not bad at all...
Sinclair and Acres need to be consistent... both influential last week and need to back it up.. if they do, we are a huge chance

Re: Team Round 5
I think we’re a tall short and it will be a problem.
Acres and Long shouldn’t be battling in the ruck.
Surprised all of Parker, Kent and Sinclair kept their spot.

Re: Team Round 5
I think the opposite. Our best chance of beating the Dees is with pace and run.

Agree completely. Hind banging on the door but changing a winning team sends the wrong message to players plus if it ain't broke...

Not sure what game you watched but Sinclair was very good against the Hawks.
He has had 3 good games this year and one quiet one against Freo.

Parker is a beast on the offensive tackle. He is everything Nathan Wright was supposed to be.The_Dud wrote: ↑Thu 18 Apr 2019 8:08pmI would drop one of Kent or Parker.twirlyhair wrote: ↑Thu 18 Apr 2019 7:55pmIf you bought in another ruckman what midfielder would you drop?

Re: Team Round 5
Reckon we're a massive chance. That Dees midfield is slow as treacle. We match them in the contested stuff and we'll beat them on the spread. Need to lock down Brayshaw as he always seems to play well against us. Steele to run with him, although he did the job on Oliver last time. Ross head to head with Oliver and see what happens. Steven, Billings and Gresh to run rings around Jones, Viney. Harmes is playing well.so.need to keep him in check. So long as Roma doesnt get smashed, we should be right. Still worried about our lack of height in F50 but Oscar Mc out helps. I'd be putting Parker on Jetta or Salem as they provide run out of the back.

Re: Team Round 5
Both Kent and Parker are new to us and getting valuable game time. Parker isn't hitting the scoreboard a lot but he hurts players. Plus he sets up other goals. He lays a tackle and the ball spills free. Happened a couple of time this year.
Kent appears to be playing a role that Richo wants him to play based on richo presser. Hard to drop a guy for doing what he is told.
But is saying that Hind is banging on the door and young is actually scoring goals in VFL we need. Interesting to see what happens if someone has another quiet game this week

Re: Team Round 5
How the f##k dies Kent hold his spot in this team?
Seriously, how do guys performing in the twos like Hind and Dunstan and even Armo perceive the selection process when a guy like Kent retains his spot?
The guy doesn’t tackle, is soft as butter at the contest and barely gets the ball.
Did they guarantee him Game when he signed?
FFS, this is a joke!

Yeah at one stage he was running on the spot. He just doesn't have the tank or body yet. will be very good when he does.
