Kent is a bit of an enigma after just 4 games. He clearly has some elite abilities but they’ve only appeared sparingly. Plus in the past two games, he’s fumbled and stumbled a few crucial times.

Kent will get better. Much better but he has the tools and has been doing some really nice things here and there. He hasn't played a lot of senior footy the last 2 years so he will get better after a deep run of games.
Posters that have admitted they were wrong about Hanna's gastro and the club didn't create a cover story.

Not saying Kent won’t be a good player for us but so far he’s certainly not been the messiah that many have talked him up as.
He came to us as an inconsistent player that occasionally hit it out of the park... feels like that is a pretty good summary of him. So far at least.
Not the world’s most shocking observation but more and more it seems that the majority of ppl in the system for 5+ years have already given you an indication of what they can bring.
Seems unlikely Kent will suddenly become consistently excellent.
Maybe if he gets enough help

I don't think anyone expected Kent to be a messiah. Just an upgrade on Weller would have been fine. So far he has been worse than Mav last year.skeptic wrote: ↑Tue 16 Apr 2019 11:50pm Not saying Kent won’t be a good player for us but so far he’s certainly not been the messiah that many have talked him up as.

We heard from Melbourne fans that he's clearly best 22 but never got a good run with injury. Well he's had a fine run with injury so far at the saints but he hasn't been any good. 2 goals and 5 tackles from 4 games as a small forward is terrible. Worst of all has been his constant fumbling and dropped marks.

We have a history of allowing players in his position to play for lengthy periods without being dropped. Lonie is showing him how to tackle (and others) atm. Robbie Young would be breathing down his neck too, fortunately we are winning, which has helped Kent greatlytedtheodorelogan2018 wrote: ↑Tue 16 Apr 2019 11:45pm Kent will get better. Parker may not play as well as dmac so that is possibly the gears stuvo substitutes. Kent plays against his old team so who else gets dropped from a winning team
