Re: Match Thread Saints v Dockers Round 3 2019
We have the most stupid game plan in the history of the AFL. We have the ball on the half back flank. We then kick backwards to the goal square and then switch back to the other back flank and stuff it up. This is Benny Hill stuff and we will never get anywhere if continue to do this s***.
NeXus Nick is back but where is Joffaboy????

Marshall was huge that quarter. Love the big bombs forward. Playing smarter and Freo looked a little tired that quarter. Hopefully we can keep this up. Great quarter Saints!!.

I’ll take the win. It’s there if we want it more than them. C’mon saints!

Can't credit the coach, no changes. The lads were turning over, missing marks, and now they've lifted. Well doneshanegrambeau wrote: ↑Sun 07 Apr 2019 7:29pm I can't watch here. What moves did Richo and the team make? Any big ones? Something worked!

Helluva quarter from Geary there.
Undeniable.

Freo coming back from the Gold Coast.
I have no idea what it means but it sounds good.

Re: Match Thread Saints v Dockers Round 3 2019
win lose..I am impressed with the intensity..haven't bagged the umps for such a long time but have to say the shockers have the rub of the green atm. We have a Ruckman and some young players who will shine under a new coach in the future, the implementation of the new coaching staff is bearing fruit. Have been negative for awhile now but can now see some improvement. but remaining confidently un optimistic = realistic...now actually looking forward to next year.

Settle - mind you, TBH I thought that last year when we played North in Round 2. Fingers crossed you're right though.

Re: Match Thread Saints v Dockers Round 3 2019
Great come back especially after the first ten minutes on second quarter. Steele holding Fyfe pretty well but it is Fyfe so he is going to hurt you a little.
Missing the speed thru the middle with Steven out but hanging in there
I am not always his biggest fan but how good is Geary today? Awesome today. Unfortunately Webster off form today. Hopeful he picks it up second half

I'll give credit to the coach for holding his nerve and backing his players.SAINT-LEE wrote: ↑Sun 07 Apr 2019 7:33pmCan't credit the coach, no changes. Re: Match Thread Saints v Dockers Round 3 2019
This is a different Saints side ... too early to get excited....... but
In the Past when the Dickers got three or four goals in front we dropped the sholuders and resigned to a loss.... This team for whatever reasons are playing for each other and the club... There is some sort of bonding going on
Even if we end up getting beaten ( possibly badly) I sense a turn of the tides
