That's clever, Joffa, edit your post after the initial post was called out. That should be a 50m penalty.

Due to your initial post, I asked my Mum whether Gresh will sign, and she said "Its in the laundry cupboard". So I asked my Dad, who used to love watching Bobby Skilton run around the Lake oval kicking with either foot, and he said "They should never have signed Buddy".

So, now I'm not sure. But I'm certain Ted's source is not his Mum, and it is 100% certain that Gresh will sign somewhere.

So on average 5 - 7% of players change clubs per season.

How many leave a club that the club wishes to retain?

My guess is 6 out of the 53 trades plus free agency last season would have been a trade against the clubs best interest. Examples Lynch, Shiel, McGovern.

So if the number is 6 out of 800 (rough estimate of players on AFL lists) we are at .75 of 1 percent players leaving that the clubs would battle to retain or return a high price for trade.

If you change your post to 99.25% you’ll be right on AFL average (at my best guess estimate).

Add to above the positive articles floating about RE Gresh re-signing and the fact he is our best elite prospect, we supposedly have cap space and he’s the club poster boy I reckon you’ll hit the nail on this one for the first time in your Saintsational career!
