Please excuse my ignorance, but why has Stuv been omitted?

It'd just be bloody typical if we lost this game by a bee's diaphragm. If that happens, we can thank the selection committee for ballsing that up!

On a brighter note, it would be good to see Hunter Clark back in team.

Re: Team v Dockers
He’s likely being “managed” because he missed weeks of training and then fronted up totally underdone for 2 games on a 6 day turnaround.
To me, it was miraculous he played the first 2.
I’d prefer he has a rest and comes back ready to go for the Hawks.
Torching the match committee seems pointless. Let’s get a fully fit Hunter In for a run.

God damn it. Not being pessimistic but it just got a whole lot harder to win. I like the 3 squad additions as well but would have gone for more speed with Stuv out. maybe Hind in the HBF for DMAC to have some pace out the back. Either way its done now

Re: Team v Dockers
I’d rather they drop Steven for a week if he’s sore and proppy and give a guy Clarke a go.
Wouldn’t have done this last year... they just would have run him into the ground and ignore the bests for Sandy.
Actually showing some foresight.
Well done Richo and the team

Re: Team v Dockers
from the 4 games played thus far, including JLT,
the guys have been playing with renewed vigour, much more than 2018.
I think we can cover for Stuv's absence, with Steelo in the guts, Clark with his sublime skills and composure,
and Gresh and Billings taking turns at clearances.
As for the comment about "our only A Grader"?
Little guy wearing #4 is banging on the door of "elite".
As another poster said, better to give him a spell than to run him into the ground.
Have him cherry ripe for the Dawks.

Clark just needs to come in, doesn’t he?

Re: Team v Dockers
I'll see what the final teams come out to be, but lots of manlove for Steven.
Even if he takes couple of weeks off, we should all be OK with it.
I so don't want a Gilbert 2010-11 kind of a bash where he ended up completely losing form due to outside issues.
So I hope Steven has a good rest, gets himself right physically and mentally and then come back in with all cylinders firing and hungry for his next match.

Long is picked for the Zebs in the fwd pocket, not on their extended bench.
So guess what...

He's injured, obviously. Emotionally or physically. If he were fit he'd be playing.guitars4 wrote: ↑Thu 04 Apr 2019 6:53pmManaged apparentlySainternist wrote: ↑Thu 04 Apr 2019 6:52pm Please excuse my ignorance, but why has Stuv been omitted?

No Steven makes our task a whole lot harder, but it gives Clark an opportunity.

Makes no difference really, he has only been a number the last two games, which is fine and not a knock on Jack!!!!!samuraisaint wrote: ↑Thu 04 Apr 2019 10:25pm No Steven makes our task a whole lot harder, but it gives Clark an opportunity.

Yes, but is it physical (one week rest) or mental (!!!!!!!)?
