Re: Parker and Wilkie
It was obvious at the AGM in December that Parker was going to be a gun. He’s not hit his straps fully yet, but by mid season he’ll be in our top 6 players I reckon.
i am Melbourne Skies - sometimes Blue Skies, Grey Skies, even Partly Cloudy Skies.

Very interesting. Thanks for the insight mate. Love it when you come on here with your tidbits, which incidentially are never detrimental to or about the club.

Re: Parker and Wilkie
To captain a team to a SANFL flag and win b&f is a good pedigree, means he uses his brain. Good pickup.
To overlook a chance to get Oscar McInerney is sad but 2 good luck ups this year.
Need to scour other leagues again.

Re: Parker and Wilkie
It will be interesting to see where he's at in twelve months. Guys coming from outside the normal pathway are a long way behind in terms of professionalism. Playing state league football would be below under 18s in terms of preparation.saintspremiers wrote: ↑Mon 01 Apr 2019 8:09pm It was obvious at the AGM in December that Parker was going to be a gun. Once Parker has 20 games and another pre season under his belt he should go to another level.

Somebody who was at the AGM, said Parker up on stage, looked mean and hungry, saintspremiers wrote: ↑Mon 01 Apr 2019 8:09pm It was obvious at the AGM in December that Parker was going to be a gun. He’s not hit his straps fully yet, but by mid season he’ll be in our top 6 players I reckon.
and he would be a very tough match-up.
It's only been 4 games (2 x JLT) but he's making a mark,
and his badges apparently sold out at qtr time!
A real Sainter will pledge allegiance to the ❤ and despise the Pies, the Blues, and the Injectors.

Re: Parker and Wilkie
Saw him play (on TV) for the first time last week V Nth Melbourne.
He clunked everything that went his way in Qt 3 and single handed turned the game in the Lions favor.
Hard to believe he didn't get a crack earlier that 23 YO at 205 cm and with some skills.
Proves the mature guys are out there and ready to play.
Wilke looks like a 200 game AFL defender, very calm assured and backs himself.
Proudly assuming the title of forum Oracle and serving as the inaugural Saintsational ‘weak as piss brigade’ President.

Re: Parker and Wilkie
Parker is already in our best 18. 2 games in. Amazing stuff.
Posters that have admitted they were wrong about Hanna's gastro and the club didn't create a cover story.
