Changes for bombers
I think one of our small forwards go out for Marshall...probably between Lonie and Kent
I’d like to see Clarke come in for Savage
Id like to see Acres come in but after a win, can’t see more than 1-2 changes tops so he might have to be patient

Re: Changes for bombers
I agree Spinner, Lonie was good, and shouldn’t be dropped, I was just thinking out loud. I’m very keen to find space for both Marshall and Pierce with an eye to the future. Having a good ruck/forward combo is something we could really use in the next 2-3 years

Re: Changes for bombers
Brown will come in, Joyce out.
If Clarke came in for anyone I'd love it to be Dunstan, but unlikely to unseat a regular starting 22 member after one game.
Peirce got thumped today, but I don't think he should be dropped for Marshall, we should run with 2 ruckmen but it would need to be at the expense of a smaller fwd...since all of them did pretty well, that would be a tough call.
Robbie Young sounds like he'd be a great inclusion too, but again, Lonie/Long/Kent really held that position down today.

Re: Changes for bombers
Lonie better than Clark, no place for Marshall, Sinclair before Phillips and Paton. Dunstan? Long so undisciplined, Sinclair a passenger. Perhaps add $5 to every membership and have the selection committee minutes sent to members because it is baffling why these better players and future of the club are given the cold shoulder - did Savage negotiate a minimum number of games? Clark and Marshall must have been subject to disciplinary action because their actual ability compared to any number that ran out today is so much better. Newnes is not in our best 22 on ability. What is going on, I wonder. Really, Kent a better prospect than either Clark or Paton. Something unfortunate is brewing inside the club management and I just can't put my finger on it because there is no transparency.1 point at home, bottom side with 2 injured mids, Wooohoo. Those that took the $1.27 earned their money. Anyway the agonising wait for AR to go continues.

Re: Changes for bombers
Marshall for Pierce
Clarke or Acres for Dunstan
Hind for Mackenzie (I thought we lacked a bit of dare and speed out of the back when the game got tight and think Hind can bring this)

Re: Changes for bombers
Marshall would have got thumped today in the ruck as well but then I am sure he would have beat Witts around the ground and taken some good marks / provided a target.

Re: Changes for bombers
Lonie scored 2nd best AFL Fantasy Points, on 92.
I would keep him n Kent for sure.
Bring in Clark because he will add so much composure.
Not sure who goes out, though.
I'd keep Joyce because the 6 frees he gave away, was just the umps being spiteful and he'll be better for the run.

Re: Changes for bombers
Marshall comes in for whoever... Bruce as back up ruck hasnt worked for 4 years... it means we always have at least 1 or 2 marking forwards.
Marshall can also cjop out down back... its a no brainer..

Re: Changes for bombers
Yes Lonie back up his late season good form of last season. So he is not going anywhere.
After his form at the end of last season he deserved to be picked this week.
Flying the World in comfort thanks to FF Points....

Marshall for Pierce
Acres or Clark for Sinclair
Actually after today’s game my late grandmother could come in for Sinclair.
Rate the guy but my god what a stinker today!

Re: Changes for bombers
The only one I see Clark replacing is Dunstan. Not sure the coaches will do that. Dunstan's inability to run and spread is a concern, and his foot skills can be awful at times. We lacked run in the second half today, so any inclusion that can help us in that respect would be welcome. Brown must come in, so it's between Joyce and Battle.

Brown in for Joyce.
Want Dunstan in - hard inside midd is something the bombers lack.
Marshall should replace Pierce.

Re: Changes for bombers
Every one is being a bit silly. Surely we will wait for the finals to play our best team.
As ex-president Peter Summers said:

Re: Changes for bombers
This would be my team for this week, 4 changes, and pulling a few surprises, like Bruce to CHB and Newnes to back flank.
All 4 backs can kick the ball and have speed, not including Full back and Centre half backs.
Geary to play as a midfield tagger only.
Long very lucky to stay in this team based on a poor game today, Dunstan stiff to be dropped but he has been average for a while now and body language is poor as well.
Also despite playing well today in backline I would rather Battle in forward line.
But "Yeah No" would freak out at this, it is too imaginative for him.
He will bring in Brown for Joyce, one change.
B: Webster Brown Savage
HB: Newnes Bruce McKenzie
C: Sinclair Steele Billings
HF: Gresh Marshall Battle
F: Lonie Membrey Parker
R: Pierce Ross Steven
I:C Acres Clark Geary Long
IN: Acres, Clark, Marshall, Brown
OUT: Joyce, Wilkie, Kent, Dunstan
