Looks like there is some real talent there. If we take him I hope he makes the most of his opportunities.

194cm, very quick for a bigger man, looks pretty skillful and is a competent intecercept mark and a solid contested possession defender. He showed these signs at AFL level with Collingwood. Does look more like a replacement for Roberton than Carlisle.

Worth a shot. Can obviously play.
Nothing to lose give him a year contract if he passed the test

Marsh was an up and coming talent and Collingwood but walked away from footy for mental health reasons which he is over. He can bloody play footy. No doubt there.

Posters that have admitted they were wrong about Hanna's gastro and the club didn't create a cover story.

Played as a big bodied midfielder for East Fremantle in 2017 and averaged 28 disposals.

I asked Mrs. Marsh what the chances are of her son getting back into the AFL. She was pretty confident She said “He does get in”

As long as it's not Shaun or Mitch, I'm happy with a Marsh in my team.

Was a huge fan of this guy in his under-age year and thought Collingwood had a steal at Pick 75. My info was that we wanted to Rookie him.

Saw that he had mental health issues and really liked the way he spoke about it, addressed it and overcame it. It was extremely impressive.

I couldn't be more delighted with the plan to snap him up. Jonathon Marsh is an AFL player in waiting. I genuinely hope it can be with us.

Clueless and mediocre petty tyrant.

In that little grab, although it's just pick the best, here's my take:
- like the Don't Argue
- like his run and speed, seems to be really athletic
- like the marking, like Skunk, took the ball cleanly and timed his leap well

Looks like Marsh is happening.
I also heard that we may get Aaryn Siposs back as a rookie.

Last Collingwood defender we got for sweet fa has worked out pretty well and thus year could be our most important back so let's get another

Agree. Brown has been a very good pick up for us and with Carlise out he is worth his weight in gold to us. Hope he stays injury free this year and continues his good form. Was very good in JLT1, albeit against an underdone opponent.

NJB seems to be a stopper more than anything,
but he does do a very good job of that.
Every team needs a big body in defence, and although he's not athletic enough to take on Buddy and other mobile forwards,
it's probably the guys upfield who should be pressuring the oppo fwds to reduce their accuracy
and slow them down.

NJB is definitely a much valued defender.

Great contested mark and imposes himself on the game. Maybe a little too similar in terms of role (forward who pinch hits in the ruck) to Marshall but I'd be very happy to rookie him
Bump

The club and the coaches preferred lumbering ruckman on the list like Longer and Pierce. If Marsh and Rowe don't ever play at a very high standard for our footy club I will not be surprised. Damn shame we missed out on McLean

Seems our boy Marshall is the prototype and if we had a guy like McLean developing at Sandy it would be nothing different to what the premiers from last year were doing and are still doing with 2 athletic ruckman in the seniors and also Collingwood and Geelong same.

McLean had 2 goals to go with his 13 kicks and 6 marks for the Sydney reserves this weekend, not sure about hitout stats though. Agree, I'd love to have another versatile ruck/forward to pair with Marshall. Our coaches have shown that they much prefer traditional lumbering dinosaur ruckmen to modern athletic rucks who can have an influence around the ground though.
