McCartin Needs to Retire
I love watching Paddy play and he is a very talented player. If he gets hit by a side of a players body in and suffers a concussion, he is physically up to playing AFL. He either needs to change his game in a big way or retire. I am concerned he will cause himself permanent physical damage as he has now had 8 concussions.

Re: McCartin Needs to Retire
He is all over.
One decent head knock away from retirement.
Look at Koby Stevens last year.
Ridiculous to pursue a structure with him at the head of it.
And no good for his long term health to keep trying to be that player.
It was a decent impact yesterday but nothing you couldn't expect in a game of footy.
And we might even be adding Roberton to that list also.
Feeling Wonky after the game- they won't be able to keep playing him if that happens again.

Re: McCartin Needs to Retire
Maybe he's better suited to a permanent ruck-rover type role, away from the forward line? I mean he's a good field kick - and he's fitter now, and can find the ball.
All his injuries seem to happen at or near full forward when he's competing in the air or lunging for marks, sometimes from friendly fire.
Has he been concussed playing away from full forward, or outside the F50?
He might just need to be repurposed and reinvented?
