In the wake of last season, and the demoralising effect its had, I’d be amazed if we hang on to membership figures of 40k or over. In my humble opinion, we are likely to see a dropping off in paid up members...... sad, but true in such a results-driven industry. The “Moorabbin spin doctors” will need to work overtime to persuade folk to hand over their money in membership fees.

It’s a shame they don’t publish yield per membership and total membership revenue. That’s the key figure.

I live in Perth, and rode my bike past Optus Stadium, singing the Dees song as I picked my way thru the mass of blue n gold; because as a former Victorian, I'm anti-Perth.
It was ~27° and would have felt like summer preseason training, so not surprised the Dees were shot from first bounce.
The following weekend, it was ~16° and raining. Go figure.

You call cannabalising by selling 11 game memberships for $97 a success?

Really bratty??

I find it deplorable they resorted to those tactics.

Why bother with annual rollovers if you can get a half price deal on a one day stunt day?

So what, we get a few hundred members who most likely won’t renew at full price ever again.

If you need a gimmick for SEN, chuck in a few free footies or scarves or the like, but don’t discount membership by over 50% !!!
