This site has more than its fair share of bullies, which actually shouldn't be a surprise to anyone.

Well as least Meatball will get more of a chance to strut his stuff now.samuraisaint wrote: ↑Thu 17 Jan 2019 10:32am With Scully recovering from a chronic injury, Mitchell out for the season, Burchall currently injured, and Rioli retired, we now get to see how deep the Hawks' list really is. Back to the facts of the matter instead of the windy rhetoric passing for fact on here
Mitchell has suffered a very significant injury, one which puts many hurdles in front of him
We will have an answer over the coming years (plural with the emphasis on plural)

Very sad Ted.
You quoted statistics as proof that Mitchell will never be the same player post broken leg.
I asked you to share those statistics you have reverted to personal insults and made up stories of Brownlow Medal favoritism.
Let’s get back to the facts Ted and forget the abuse.
Now Ted, can you please provide the statistics you referred in your post.
I think it’s time to put up or shut up Ted.

Try doing some research, read a few more books and analyse players stats on the topic. Its not that hard.

Already explained it. I know the topic, you don't. You need to research the impact of bad leg breaks on elite sports people. Try read the posts properly again.
Anyway, how much do you have on Mitchell for the '20 Brownlow?

Re: Tom Mitchell out for season 2019
There are a few online stats sites for you to trawl through Joffa. Already suggested that. I personally don't have the time to post and link the players stats or trawl through med papers on the topic. Do some reading mate as you obviously don't have much knowledge on the impact of bad leg breaks on elite athletes like T. Mitchell.
Plus, I think a Brownlow quinella with Mitchell and Gresham for 2020 would be a good punt. You should get on it.

Repeated post after post about betting on Brownlow, odds etc...perhaps this may help you: https://www.gamblinghelponline.org.au/
You are correct that I have no knowledge on injury study, I’m not a medical professional nor have I researched the topic.
What you cannot comprehend Ted, is I have never stated Mitchell will be as good as he was, bettter or worse post injury. I have written I have no idea as I have no expertise in the field.
I have written that unless you have knowledge and information on his specific injury you are merely speculating. You have taken this and tried to twist it into an argument but you have not been successful.
I reiterate without medical knowledge and access to Mitchell’s file you have no idea.
You quoted statistics around broken legs Ted and I’m still waiting for them.
Now it’s time to put up or shut up Teddysainterparkey.
Link us to your stats that you posted about or just admit it’s more ted bulls***.
Put up or shut up.

I learnt something from this thread; the word bullshitting isn't blocked by the swear filter
Maybe teddyparkey heard a whisper or has been told by an itk and he usually doesn't need any proof or stats once his reliable sources tell him what to think

Already explained it. Read the posts again Joffa. We are just going around in circles. Do your research. Try the website afltables.com as a start and correlate it to a footballer. The Germans do good med papers too, sure they do English translations.
I'm not putting any money on Mitchell for the '20 Brownlow myself but I can understand why you want to seeing you think he will take it out. Good luck. You might also be able to get his signature when he walks down the red carpet outside Crown on the '20 Brownlow night.

Re: Tom Mitchell out for season 2019
So statistics prove Mitchell will not be the same player again, but fact is you have never accessed such statistics.
It’s ok to have an opinion, just don’t try and pass your bulls*** off as fact.
And you claim I think Mitchell will win the 2020 Brownlow. Very strange how you fabricate a story and try to pass it off as fact.

Rohan and Brown had horrific multiple compound fractures. I have not seen x-rays of Mitchell’s leg so I don’t know the extent of the damage.
Dozens of players have had broken legs and returned without issue, the two you refer were very bad complicated injuries.
He may never be the same, may be just as good or end up better, I don’t know and you don’t either.

Spoke to my doctor mate last night. He stated "Tom Mitchell will never be the same player again". "He'll be older as well in 2020" There you have it, case closed.
