I for one cannot fathom why the Hole in the Head gang (below) are waging a campaign against you Ted. Your posts are virtually 100% about footy/the club, and all express a clear and logical opinion on topics. If the HOHs disagree they normally don't come back with a sensible reply but some sort of mocking/abusive post. Weird.

I can only think of two reasons for this campaign.

1. Jealousy of the quality and quantity of your posts.

2. Off season - the club is doing very little at the moment to satisfy the critical desires of the HOHs, so they have chosen you, but you can bite back.

My advise is to either ignore the posts and carry on, or just type "albatross" in response, it works for me when answering the numerous nuisance calls re solar panels, windows technology department, etc.

I’d be happy to foe him if he didnt spam every thread with fake news or perpetuate the positive vs negative poster that he frequently falls back to when challenged.

Whilst his posts may reference the Saints, I don’t see him generating much Saints discussion. I stopped trying to engage him in conversation some time ago because his opinion always goes back to... ‘I’m an insider what would you know’ or ‘my opinion is positive so therefore more valid’ both of which are ridiculous arguments

This forum gets pettier and nastier every day. Can people just discuss football in a civil way without turning to personal attacks on other forum members? It's getting very tiresome, particularly when we have trawl through pages of tit for tat to get to anything resembling a discussion of a topic

Nice post. Its a bit of 1 and 2 I believe. Throw in the gang pack mentality along with it also. Its a common trait of human groups across the centuries unfortunately. Many a great philosopher and student of history has never been able to work it out 100%. Someone even dobbed me in to the admin for using a swear word above. Lol.

No not necessarily, gave 2 possible reasons I could think of in the earlier post.

I only posted re the HOH gang after reading some of the inane responses to some of Ted's simple posts just giving information re the Saints, and whilst this information was readily available on other sites, I find it handy to read on SS, and not have to scan other sites. I have no problem with Ted's posts, and agree with a lot of them.

I read your post and assumed you were taking the piss, but it seems you are serious.

I stand by what I said to Ted:

"Every thread seems to have you lecturing people.
Please either get a sense of humour or just calm down a bit.

My comment was in regards to him having a crack at someone for not having played AFL so not being worthy of an opinion.

As you do, I also enjoy reading SS for Saints info, and don't notice Teds posts when he sticks to footy.
