The only issue I have here is that your statement "I'm busier than ever!" is a relative position. For all we know you may have spent the past 6 years in your mum's basement staring at a Raquel Welch poster, infrequently interfering with yourself to break the abject boredom. On Billy, I wish he worked full time at the club... the guy is the Rob Harvey / Nick Riewoldt of another league. It’s incredible having him here but I would like to understand more clearly what his actual role is.

You are here to get into petty little squabbles. Play your “I’m only here to talk about footy” card as much as you like. You are the common denominator in the majority of tit for tat and you give as good as you get. Leave out the “it’s beneath me” schtick added to the end of your posts that are largely made up of your tit for tatting.

If you genuinely want to just talk footy, take a leaf out of Saintbrat’s book and just talk footy. You actually thrive on the conflict eh 66.

I am here to talk footy. Look at my threads. Anyway, then some <edited by mods> or two comes along (plus a few of the online gang to congratulate eachother) and abuses me or is a smartarse and it then turns into garbage. Take the time to read the threads I create. You might surprise yourself.

I for one cannot fathom why the Hole in the Head gang (below) are waging a campaign against you Ted. Your posts are virtually 100% about footy/the club, and all express a clear and logical opinion on topics. If the HOHs disagree they normally don't come back with a sensible reply but some sort of mocking/abusive post. Weird.



Nics of those pictured has been withheld.

I can only think of two reasons for this campaign.

1. Jealousy of the quality and quantity of your posts.

2. Off season - the club is doing very little at the moment to satisfy the critical desires of the HOHs, so they have chosen you, but you can bite back.

My advise is to either ignore the posts and carry on, or just type "albatross" in response, it works for me when answering the numerous nuisance calls re solar panels, windows technology department, etc.
