What is more important for St Kilda?????????
Rooey and Joey playing in 2018 OR St Kilda's second premiership? We will all find out in about 3 and a half months or earlier maybe!!??
Both players have been champions for the Saints no doubt. They both took us to within a poofteenth of winning 2 premierships. A little bit of lady luck was all that was needed. But their time is up I'm afraid IMHO of course. I'm hoping that they will both come out together in the next 4 weeks and say they will both retire at the end of this season.
Next year with both gone we can start blooding Rice and Freeman to name just 2 and it will give us the opportunity to go and grab at least 1 if not 2 gun Free Agents. (Rockliff and Martin would be nice).
Please discuss.

Change the "OR" to an "AND" - then it reads much much better.

I'm struggling to see how we can win the flag unless we also play at least 3 games a year in NZ.citywest wrote:What the?Enrico_Misso wrote:Change the "OR" to an "AND" - then it reads much much better.

Wellington would be ideal but I'll settle for Auckland. Imagine how many members we will get after our flag win over there??Proph3t of egan wrote:Actually laughed out loud at thissaintspremiers wrote:I'm struggling to see how we can win the flag unless we also play at least 3 games a year in NZ.citywest wrote:What the?Enrico_Misso wrote:Change the "OR" to an "AND" - then it reads much much better.

Yep, have them retire and go to NZ to help develop the club's future there.

Buggered if I can see how Nick is keeping either Rice of Freeman out of the team.
Over the past few weeks, Bailey Rice has achieved superstar status...in the minds of some SS posters.
Is he actually any good? From what I've been reading on here, he's potentially the next James Hird: capable of carrying us to a premiership on his back.

Did not know that the two were mutually exclusive.
If they play on at the right price and get picked on their merits then no issue.

Reiwoldt and Montagna own the club. They have more powers than richo and the board combined. They will play on cause THEY want to. They retire in 2018 and we still wont have got 50 games into bailey oaddy mckenzie or whit

The great irony in all of this is that Roo is still our best player and he's been retired for 15 months.
Clueless and mediocre petty tyrant.

Should he be on the list and still playing you reckon
What's the cut off for being included in the best players on a playing list ( 1 year, 3 years, 20 years??? ) when you are no longer on that playing list?
So can I say that Robert Harvey and Stewey Loewe are still our best players?
