This thread has become a deflection thread for all the posters who had written Mav off as an AFL listed player!!!!!
Typical, don't see many admitting they were wrong!!!!!
No surprises there, on a side note, good to the Eagles have enough confidence in Tom that they have to Rookie list a back up!!!!!
So your argument is WC have no confidence in Hickey because they took a rookie ruckman after giving Hickey a two or three (can’t recall) year deal, moving him to Perth on main list and trading 2nd round pick for him.
But Weller getting a one year rookie deal at Richmond validates his credentials as an AFL listed player.
Is that correct?
I’m a Mav doubter and happy to be proven wrong when he get a game at the Tigers.
At least you admit your wrong about Mav not being an AFL listed player!!!!!
Since when does an argument end with one of these though ?????
'Cause StoneCold Said So'!!!!! We will be great again once Billy is back playing!!!!!
Now its Richo's fault Mav couldn't be any good and consistent at St Kilda...even after so many posters couldn't wait to see him delisted because they vehemently stated day after day he was no good as a footballer. Fairdinkum....
ANother load of absolute drivel from Parkeysainter. FMD.
Proof be known that Richo wanted Mav to stay at the club and was out voted at the last minute....IMO though, Mav had run his race for whatever reasons, he just wasn't getting the pill and lost his goalkicking skills. Might do ok but I reckon Richmond will be the new bulldogs
Maybe it wasn't Richo but Kingsley that was the reason Weller kept getting games?
Given Kingsley left for Richmond before Weller was delisted and now Richmond have picked him up it seems logical to me that they (Richmond) would have used Kingsley's opinion on this move.

Maybe so. Apparently Richo said that Kingsley had no more to offer or words to that effect. Tigers signed Kingsley up immediately and then Mav gets signed up. Might be a connection there. But Mav definteley wasn't playing well in 2018 so fair to move him on.
